I've just realized that we completely forgot to put online this video we filmed by chance at the Game Convention last week, showing the full intro video of Project Gotham Racing 4. As far as I can tell this has never been shown before!


I also of course got to play the game at the Game Convention, and I really liked the few minutes I spent there. Graphically the 2 years Bizarre had since the release of PGR3 certainly show, even without the mostly excellent looking weather effects PGR4 definitely beats the previous game hands down.

The new cities also look much more interesting than the rather boring ones from PGR3, since this time Bizarre actually seems to have chosen them for their racing lines and not only to get big names on the cover. Quebec and Macau especially should more than please the fans like me of the small and elevated streets we had in PGR2.

I'm not too sure what to think about the motorbikes though, I'll need quite some more hands on time with them before I can decide if I like their handling or not.

As long as Bizarre manages to lock the framerate to 30 fps, PGR4 should be the game we fans of the series all wanted it to be!

You can say that with pretty much any real-time game trailer where they edit scenes.... Why would a trailer/video have loading? This isn't any different from the latest GT5:Prologue trailers.
this is true, you just have to look at Dead or Alive game intros, they last for almost 5 minutes yet they show off almost every stage and character zero loading time, all in game not ehanced replay footage like GT games.

HAIL PGR4! If it comes close to PGR2, this game will be a system seller.

I believe the intro to PGR3 was pre-rendered, just like the intro to Forza 2. I'm pretty sure this is also pre-rendered.

Game still looks great. Can't wait to play it on October 2.

Not in the sense of pre-rendered FMV sequences, it was a video for sure, but from playing the game you know its all in game.

Looks a hell of a lot better than PGR 3... God that game looked horrible, I'm so glad I saved the $60 and waited for this one. I knew they were gunna pop the 4th one out shortly after the 3rd!

PGR3's intro was in-game. Forza 2's was pre-rendered.

Graphically this beats anything ive seen in the racing genre. Although its different in gameplay to both forza and GT 5 prologue, graphically it blows them both away.

It's also more of my game, I hate realistc handling, I love project gothams power sliding. Cannot wait for this now, amazing graphics and extra features from pgr3.

Not going to happen until Bugatti releases some docs about how the car actually takes corners. And it seems like it's a car designed for straights more than tight corners ;)

ok So 2 years is a short time now?

& PGR3 looks horrible ..god noway its still one of the best looking games on 360 (for its time)

P.S its all about geometry wars PEOPLE =P lol

Watching that trailer feels like the launch of a new console all over again. I almost can't believe the 360 can put out graphics like that.
