A few days before the Tokyo Games Show, Tecmo and Microsoft unveil the very bloody first images of Ninja Gaiden 2, for the moment still a Xbox 360 exclusive. Graphically, Sigma has nothing to be ashamed of for now.

yaeh, NG2 looks perfect for a fast action games. I think NG Sigma was just a test for the Engine of NG2.
great. I played trough all modes in the previous games. I hope this one has the same diffcult.

Sigma's graphical problem (s?) came from the Xbox 1 conversion, but I think it was more the level designers lacking that ended in the levels still looking like a Xbox 1 game (with higher resolution diffuse textures) in NGS.
I hope they end up using some nice normal mapped or parallax textures in NG2, because if they don't, it still will reflect a Xbox 1 look, I think.

Still, it's Ninja Gaiden. We all know what's in store for us, which is pure pwnage with Mr. Hayabusa! I'm sure some HDTVs will be broken due to flung controllers of rage too!

Ninja gaiden hasn't been cut because of "Zee' Jermans"...it was cut because the European publisher wanted a lower rating (15 in the UK and 16 in Germany).

There is ZERO doubt in my mind that the gameplay will be anything less than stellar. But I reserve the right to be disappointed in these screens, and that hardly makes me a troll. *insert rolling eyes emoticon here*

Wow, didn't expect this. Well I expected (or hoped) for a presentation of NG2 on the TGS but not revealed before the show.
I'd say it looks quite good in terms of graphics, screen res isn't too high tho. :/
And yeah that comment wasn't needed snoopers, first of all the res is horrid and alone gudging by the trees in the background this will take the NG experiance, graphicaly, one level higher.
EDIT: I just hope It isn't released in Germany AT ALL, or just an extra cut version for us. I'm gonna import my copy from Austria or UK anyway.

I'm a big NG fan, but I wished ryu hayabusa had a new design and outfit for NG2. I'm a little dissapointed in this area. Well, shows how lazy team ninja are. You can bet DOA5 will still use the same models from 5 years ago. But anyways I'm happy NG2 is getting somewhere.

Everyone should not the Resolution of the images. They aren't even 480p. You'll not beable to comment on the level of detail or proper visuals until you see it in 720p. Everything else is an assumption.

if you look closely, there actually is a slight change in his outfit, most noticeably in the head ornament...
either way, these shots are early, some of the textures look too lo-res, and there is no noticeable self-shadowing. too early to compare it to NG Sigma, a finished game
