Nice looking stuff, not better than PGR but not neccessarily worse in the graphics dept.

But when was the last time Atari made a A+ title for an Xbox product?

The game was quite nice at X05, I have some footage but the demo console was overheating so it crashed often :/

Over heating huh? Water cooler blew out or something? That's what I'm concerned about...Cooling. Oh and don't water cooling requires one of those tall towers/radiator for heat to dissipate? And is the cooling medium water/ethylene glycol? How often do we need ot change the liquid?

Third pick looks terrible, I hope the detail in the inside of the car isnt as bad as that one, even the tachometer looks bad

nossy: liquid cooling happens in a closed circuit, there is no need and likely no way to change the liquid. And as the absence of a big external radiator tower for the 360 should indicate: there is no big radiator needed.

theis, Hmm never heard of that kind cooling, the water cooling I know from PC is that it uses a radiator tower and ethylene glycol/water mixture is circulated through the CPU/GPU and back to the radiator tower. But that's cool. I'm was a bit concerned when I heard about water cooling on the 360. Thanks for the info.

Been looking forward to this game since it was anounced, having a whole large island to drive around on just sounds fun. Screens look great as usual.

I am fairly certain the Xbox360 is not using water cooling but rather is using heatpipes. Yes Microsoft called it "water cooling" but fact is that shipping a water cooled console would just be too dangerous and expensive. Thus since heatpipes have a liquid substance in them, microsoft saw it fit to try to fascinate/trick some into thinking it was watercooled.

Looks good, you can see there is hell of a lot detail in this screens, even there is no AA i think. I like the third Pic, even PGR 3 looks better.

yeh im sure you are right they have a sealed cooling system as compared to a water cooling system that circulates water

The car models are very impressive imo. They actually look more "realistic" than the PGR3 car models, in my opinion. And please don't start flaming for that last comment, realistic doesnt have to mean better looking. PGR3's (And PGR's in general) colour palette is not the most realistic (griddy). More an art decision than anything else.. :)

This looks quite impressive actually.

yeah, something about the cars turn me on, but the graphics can't really compare with PGR3.
What I want is something that sets it apart from the other racers out there, and honestly I haven't played Test Drive since the first one on PC like, what was it?...12 years ago or more? lol.
So I'm not sure how Test Drive gameplay has evolved.

Blim was saying that there's challenge races in a persistent world (or, something resembling persistency), which sounds really cool.

I wan't to see an F-Zero type racer on the 360!!!

Almost, cause the environments are no match for PGR3. All we've seen are these endless palmstreets with err... palms.
