GSY Video PS4

After trying to figure what might have gone wrong with our 4K footage of Horizon: Zero Dawn, the only answer we found was the obvious one: the PS4 Pro must have bugged when we changed the set-up to record our footage and somehow, HDR remained on despite what the menu said. Anyway, we decided to make it up to you with a few more extracts on the same theme (environments) so you can enjoy the game's beauty properly. We have finally reached the second part of the map, which you can see here (stay away if you want to keep the surprise for yourself), and we're still very much enjoying the game. Actually, in terms of pure exploration, the 2 last times we felt so motivated to explore the open world were in The Witcher 3 and Red Read Redemption.
Update: Third gallery added.

You mean Killzone?

I don't think people want more Crysis games. I certainly don't. :p

The first Crysis game and its expansion were great, but I definitely don't want more Crysis games.

So.. I guess 90% of 2017's games are right out the window, eh?

New IP is the exception, not the rule.

Come on. Crysis 2 and 3 were terrible, Crytek only cares about VR now, so why would you want another episode when they have clearly shown they can't pull it off? I like Crysis 1 and Warhead, but I have no faith on Crytek anymore when it comes to making good titles. If there is ever a new Crysis game it'll probably be Crysis VR...

Yea that's why I also don't want another one :P

Real question: Does Crytek even make games anymore?

Crysis 2 and 3 weren't terrible. Not as good as the first one for sure, but definitely better than your average Call of Duty's campaign in almost every way.

i'm not sure they were. they had options due to the suit modes. but crysis didn't particularly do anything well. it was a serviceable action game. a serviceable stealth game. but COD back then was doing what it did very well. a lot better than crysis tried to anyway.

The Decima engine they are using has so much potential with two powerhouses like Guerrilla and Kojima productions now improving upon it together. Horizon probably didn't benefit from this collaboration because it happened after it was pretty much done but Death Stranding and Horizon 2 definitely will.

Stunning! I had no faith in GG to pull this off after the disaster that was Shadow Fall. Well done GG now how about letting them always make new IP's Sony!

Killzone was no better than Crysis though? Infact as a series i'd say Crysis was better only good Killzone was no.2. While Crysis had 3 decent'ish games and was alot better online than GG's games.

It was not if you ask me, but I think you'll find more supporters than for Crysis 2 and 3. Killzone's background is more interesting, though Guerilla never managed to put it forward in the games themselves...

the game needed a directors cut or something. basically an edit that cut out all the tech demo-like levels and concentrated on the good parts. i definitely enjoyed it more than crysis 2/3 (not difficult) but it had some really weird pacing. like long stretches of nothing, or almost nothing. where you're just plugging in batteries in a space station for instance. the parts where you were dropped into a semi-open environment and could play how you wanted and there were multiple objectives and enemies. that was really fucking good. but it only made up about a third of the game if that.

Shadow Fall would have been made better if Lucas was a more developed character. After Killzone 2 and then 3 which improved on the characters' personalities in every way, it was strange to see such a boring character that didn't say a lot.

AND if there were 3 or 4 extra levels that allowed you to play as Echo at key points of the story, like where was she at this point or that point in the story, it would have been better.

Making the Helghast the 100% bad guys again should have been scrapped and they should have went all in with their peace theme more, like the one Lucas and Echo wanted for their people.

Oh what am I saying, it was just a complete "disaster" train-wreck of a game. It crashed to the PS4 menu once every 20 minutes, the loading times were like 4 minutes and not cleverly hidden or short, the multiplayer never ever worked and the graphics looked like a last gen game like Killzone 2 that strangely still looks impressive today but it isn't impressive because it isn't.

Crytek made Far Cry 12 years ago. That is all the relevance they are to me in the game industry.

How is this old gen?

http://www.gamersyde.com/pop_images_killzone_shado...

There are many negative things you can say about Shadow Fall, but call it old gen makes no sense. Also, I don't remember having had to endure crashes when playing the game, not more than any other that is. As for multiplayer, can't say since I hâte multiplayer in every possible game, but some French members used to enjoy it.
