TGS07: Ninja Gaiden 2 teaser and images

The TGS starts early this year with nothing less than the first teaser trailer of Ninja Gaiden 2. It's 100% CG and it certainly doesn't show much, but still it's good to see that the game is on track for a 2008 release.

I hate comments like that. Those are the people who doesn't deserve to own either PS3 nor 360...a Wii should "fit" them well, hehe.
I think these days most of the people are waaay to spoiled with next-gen games and all.
It is NOT cool to laugh at others that is not able to play a certain game just because they don't have the right console.
But I think it is right to have NG2 as exclusive though because we need 3rd person action games, 360 don't have much.
PS3 got Heavenly Sword and God of War which in my opinion is amazing games as well.

Ninja Gaiden 2 according to Microsoft's website has a 30 hour single player campaign. Which is huge for a game of this type. And the gameplay definitely is not repetitive. I just hope it's just as hard, because it was so much fun being as challenging as it was.

Well yeah about 30 hours for this kind of game and its NG2, its gonna be crazy. But I think 30 hours is a bit too much, considering most people get pissed with the AI and all, it will take some time.
But once you can learn all the tricks such as you could with Ninja Gaiden, it will be a bit less.
But it's in early stages you know, so they can say it might be around 30 hours.
Non the less, I have no idea how many times I have played Ninja Gaiden on xbox and NG Sigma (which is the same) but I know I have played so many times that I have memorized all the levels, all its secrets, weak spots for each enemy...etc.
With Ninja Gaiden 2, it's no difference there either. I know I will put my soul into that game to do the same.
With AI...I hope its not cheap were you go to Very Hard or something and in the beginning they have given the AI extra damage points and advanced weapons that shouldn't come into the game MUCH later, while you are stuck with ranked 1 Dragon Sword and nothing more.
But...because this is a sequal, we should be able to have level 3 Dragon Sword (max, unless you can upgrade it more in NG2), and that black outfit...and ninpo!
I wonder what kind of outfits they are gonna give us this time.
I was a bit dissapointed that its still the same black outfit...the only thing I noticed is that there are VERY tiny differences on his outfit...you wont even notice it if you don't compare the old suit to the new one.

Actually it's the NG Sigma Engine. The water in the first pic looks very cheap and no reflections etc. (just like the water in SIGMA). Char models are awesome and the blood looks really ehrm...cool xD
Looks good so far and I cant wait for this game.

The game looks beautiful, never thought id say something looks beautiful that has so much gore. Theres a lack of shadowing, making everything look rather bright, but hell NG2!!
Anyone notice Ryu carring 2 weapons?? Not one!!! :D
Tecmo distributed NG so it was them that wanted to lower the age to 15 for Europe. If it is indeed MS that is distributing NG2 then we shouldnt have any problem this time round it will be an 18 full gore!!

But for sequal as for NG2...yeah a bit downer in the visual department.
But gameplay is where it is all about, although NG Black was one of the best visuals on original Xbox, you could expect it to be the same for the 360.

It's certainly not the same engine as Sigma, since an engine ported from a PS3 to an Xbox will run badly. Guess they used the same engine as DOA 4/DOAX 2, wich is not bad but I think the game could use some proper shading, it just looks very flat... :/
In the end tho, it doesn't matter to me, the game is a first day purchase. NG 1 is one of my favorite games of all time. I played it again on very hard in summer, and as I'm not the best player it sure took me a few weeks, but damn the graphics were still good after all these times and it was a lot of fun (and some very frustrating spots). If NG 2 is remotely on the same difficult level it will probably take me more than 30 hours to play.

THIS GAME IS IN DEVELOPMENT AND WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL 2008.
This is work in progess folks (and looks really good) .

Ryu Hayabusa is not your traditional ninja for assassination mission.
Ryu's title is *super-ninja* in modern world. Meaning he is bad ass, and stealth is the last thing he is going to do.
