Ninja Gaiden 2 demo video

Ninja Gaiden 2 demo video

You may already know it or not, but the full video of Microsoft Pres Conference last week is now available on the Marketplace, and in HD. I will of course capture everything that's worth watching, but it will take a bit of time. So while waiting for the videos here are some captures of the demo of Ninja Gaiden 2 done by the game's directory. It's important to mention that the game runs at 60 fps and the video at 30, so 2 images are blended together into one with not so good results most of the time. So I've selected the one that looks the least bad, I guess.
Update: As promised, here is the video. Many thanks to DjMizuhara for the capture and upload!
Update 2: Video now has sound, sorry about this!

Hmm...the environments look really empty and lifeless in some of these screens. Not much else to say, i hope it looks better in action though. And I'm confident that it will play great, no matter what.

So it was true!

Well I will watch the HD version from the 360 first and the comment here.

Edit: Saw it and it was awesome.
They finally was smart enough to add real-time weapon switch, no more menus.

Its awesome for sure.

Say what?

In any case, it's not loke the decapitation of humans adds much to the gameplay...though i guess it would be kind of hard to censor out the whole gib-effect we've been seeing so far :D

Cant wait to see it in motion. Those screens clearly dont do the game justice.

The European version MUST be this bloody and gorey, if not more!

I watched the video through the 360 like 3-4 times and I noticed that those fist claw and leg claw is just a freaking bad ass weapons.

So damn fast that its crazy, kind of like Vigoorian Flail once you hold the power attack to max and he keeps hitting the enemy really quickly!

Another cool stuff I noticed is the finishing blows, reminds me of the new Turok.
You hit a button and you get to see like this cinematic brutal kills...and damn it was brutal!

Seeing the combat in this game in motion makes Heavenly Sword look like a joke. I'm amazed at the amount of cool, cinematic elements that were added to the combat. This game is a day-one buy for me.

What does this have to do with Heavenly Sword?
Letme guess, Itagakis ego comment on "half-assed" stuff...thats idiotic.

I rather say Devil May Cry or God of War, more to DMC.

Anyway all the games, God of War, NG and DMC are all my favorites in 3rd person action games.

Why not just capture from the xbox live marketplace?

After seeing the video i think it looks like it's simply more of what we got in the first game. Doesn't seem to be much new stuff in terms of gameplay mechanics. There are some new weapons and the roll seems to have been replaced with a dash, but otherwise it looks like the same old game. Not necessarily a bad thing though, as there will probably be some pretty bad-ass battles in there :)

Would you rather a little kid be walking down the street and get covered in blood and probably killed on accident? The city is most likely evacuated or everyones hiding in their houses. Man people will complain about anything.

its very hard to make out because its so subtle at this point, but there is indeed self shadowing. game looks friggin awesome

im also surprised (or not so depending on how u see it) that some poeple would allready comment on it being too similar to the original..1 short demo of the first ever seen gameplay..do you guys mind waiting until more is shown before such comments? or better yet, the game is released..thank you
