Ruliweb found a way to film the TGS Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer, and of course their servers have imploded under the load. So here comes our mirror!
Please use the torrent as much as possible, if our download servers are overloaded we'll simply disable the direct downloads!

Okay... how can someone NOT be impressed by that trailer?
It looks stunning. Those are some of the best character models I've seen all gen and the animation is practically second to none. It doesn't need to simply impress via high quaity textures it impresses with the total package.
Snake's bandana the way it moved when he saw that monkey, the girl's necklace, the black guy's tie. Impressive work all around pretty much.

Impressive as always, but still kind of wacky, weird, and as boring as ever, too. I guess no need to change what Kojima does best. Anyway, the faces look pretty impressive. If it's as good as Snake Eater, or the first, it should be a success. The introduction of a usable camera is also quite nice (about time).
On a side note, I thought Asians hated guns? I don't see any massive, penis-envy swords anywhere. It makes no sense that they would like a game like this but then be all snobby about Halo. That's just uncalled for, and lame.

Also szaromir I guess I can't blame someone for not thinking it's among the best, but I can't recall a more impressive trailer than this one. That we've seen recently anyway :o

The only thing that worries me about mgs4 is when I seen the gameplay. It was only brief but it looked more like ghost recon than metal gear solid. Looks sort of run and gun.
Metal gear should be very stealthy but its looking alot more actiony.
Having said that if the boss fights are as good as last time I may not even care.

I feel sorry for anyone who's going to miss out on what will likely be the greatest game of all time. This will propel PS3 to the top. Just please god, let there be a PSN demo at TGS.
