Almost 4 years day to day after the released of the ever great PGR2, Bizarre Creations finally releases a worthy successor after the midly disappointing PGR3. Enjoy these 8 new videos of Project Gotham Racing 4, that should give you a better idea of the good stuff to come. More impressions after the jump.

With a completely new career mode, a more than complete arcade mode, weather effects with a real impact on the driving, motorbikes that actually make sense gameplay-wise compared to the cars and most importantly some great new cities, Project Gotham Racing 4 is the most complete racing experience available to date. And we should take our sweet time enjoying it, since it will be the last one developed by Bizarre Creations now that they have been bought by Activision.

Also worth mentioning, the Force Feedback wheel support in PGR4 is spot on perfect, much much better than PGR3's patch.

Couple of questions.
I bought the wheel the other day for Forza 2 and it came with PGR3 which in my distant memory was impressive graphically. I could not believe how terrible it looked after a year or so of playing other things.
My point...
Is it just a step up from PGR3 graphically?
and
my main question is
How is the cockpit view this time around? any more detail?

I still think PGR3 is pretty. The sub-720p framebuffer doesn't really bother me that much. Lighting and environmental detail are still superb.. as are the car models.

Looking forward to this as well. PGR3 still looks great to me too, and I've always loved racing games with 'rain' effects.

Ougch, that is andrenalin pumping. The way how pgr3 was expected to look, but never did. Cities are like 3d photographies, or projections of real thing in you little console.

...I've never had a problem with slow links before, but the streaming video is [for once] slow :(

Incredible gfx. I can think of only two blemishes: too much motion blur (they should make it adjustable) and ugly foliage. The rest is fantastic.

But they dont let you choose bomber-braindamage special or toothless-nohelmet-redneck as your biker? Bunch of liberals brainwashing our kids into thinking helmets are cool ;)

Oh and you lose your license in this country if you ride a motorbike without your helmet. And how many Finns does it take to stand on the F1 podium for our flag to be on there FFS.. oh wait. nm
