Images of SEGA Bass Fishing

In Spring 2008, european players will be able to find (once more) the marine extents of SEGA Bass Fishing after seven years in the shadows. The fishing game was launched in the arcades (1998), on the Dreamcast (1999) and for Windows (2001). This remasterized entry will boast 15 landscapes to dip your poles in, the possibility to adjust the weather and the use of the Wiimote + Nunchuk. The Wii is practically made for such a game, so I can only feel happy.

I want to train my fish so they can fight against each other! Sorta like Pokémon, with fish. Actually, I think it has been made in another game...

I use to love the original on dreamcast. The commentator was hilarious I hope the same guy does this game. The screenshots look worse than dreamcast poor Wii.

I owned the Dreamcast one and this one DEFINITELY looks better, which is rare to be able to say with confidence about a 3rd party Wii game.

DC one didn't have any water refraction effects (wavyness), just a simple 'reflection', and the textures look better.

Well granted the water looks better but it's not much of a step up from the DC version.

Looks frikkin awful and I would say the DC version with the fishing rod controller would play better than the Wii remote.

I had the fishing rod controll, it broke after 3 weeks.
This is a fishing game and is very skillfull. If you like fishing dance

I don't know what you're seeing...this definitely doesn't look any better than the DC version. I don't remember this game looking this jaggy before, and I can't imagine that the textures were any worse. My Dreamcast still gets plenty of play, so I know the games still look good.

On topic, this wii port needs rumble!

wow, that looks like a ps1 game. I only tried this game on that demo disc that came with the dreamcast and imo that most definitely looked better to me (much more if I hooked it up to my vga monitor).

well besides the water, I don't see much differences at all, and the water is certainly better, I hope you'd all agree.

These shots are probably lower resolution than the game will actually run, and those Sega Bass Fishing shots are rather blurry, so of course you won't see jaggies.

i play with vga on the DC and w/o tv blurring it still is fairly jaggyless(unscaled that is). yeah, i guess the water looks good.

Zomoniac @dingleberry doesn't matter, if you score with both shots and defend successfully all game it's still a win. Shouldn't have been 6-2 to Liverpool as shots mean nothing if they don't go in. (5 Hours ago)
