After the Versus update earlier, we learn more about the principal Final Fantasy XIII title with these new images. It is a Playstation 3 exclusivity which will be available in 2008 for our Japanese friends. Motomu Toriyama, the Final Fantasy X-2 creator, is helming this title so the combat system potential is really good. As for the images, they are CG.

Commented on 2007-11-01 20:12:44I already own a PS3 mainly for this game, so I would be slightly pissed if SE says oh BTW its multiplatform, but i still see it happening anyway. (especially if Last Remant sells better on the 360 than the PS3)
There just isn't enough PS3's around to get their money back on this game, the dev costs alone will probably be astronimical.

I bought a PS3 ,because that way I can be 100% sure ,that I get to play MGS4 , FF XIII , FF Versus XIII and don't have to fear ,that I might miss out on them.

The japanese console is cheap btw, got mine in a day deal for $230 new last week in yodobashi kamera near the Oosaka/hankyuu express station, it was just heavy to bring back in the luggage. They even gave me 4 tickets of Y2000 off anything because it was the "playstation matsuri" oct 20 to oct 28, i bought HDMI->DVI cable, another HDMI cable and Minna no golf 5 :P

I don't say that arguing per se is a bad thing , but we have about 0 information about the real situation within the dev team/publisher or what kind of contracts were made and so on ,so all the hypothesis are build on some rumors everyone could make up by themselves. This isn't a base for discussion in my opinion.
As I said earlier I only wanted the security to be able to play those titles without having to worry a single bit , but still wanted to play some games prior to the release of them (an actually I still need to play MGS2-3 + FF X,X-2 + XII :P ) .
Does that make me a "Sony fanboy"? - I don't know ...
