Damage technology looks pretty impressive too, lets hope they put the same effort in to the gameplay.
not buying for $60 , will wait until it drops to at least $30
I love how FINALLY after literally 10 years of effing bull**** that the damage physics has been brought back, takes me back to the days of Toca World Touring and Destruction Derby.
This is real damage aswell not that other game which names forgets me, the one where you get points for smashing public cars n such.
Anyway i love the game, most definetly going to pick it up.
bah , give me real damage and real smoke. stop lying EA , give me something we haven't seen before , these effects are so old looking.

The demo was excellent but seems only afew people seemed to like it :( Seen alot of hate for this game in forums!
XSAVAGE what game have you played with better smoke effects?
Pre-ordered as soon had I had played the demo!
Graphics look OK, smoke looks way too damn fake (nice effect, bad implementation). But those are graphics, the physics are just AWFUL and so is the sound and what have you. The speed challenge or whatever they want to call it in this game is relatively fun the first time through, but the other kind of race? Whoa, that's the definition of boring right there.
Having said that, part of the reason for the boredom is how easy it is. Why even bother giving "aids" when the highest difficulty of driving is so damn easy?!
After High Stakes, the Need for Speed franchise went in a downward slope. Now they are way down there, and at this age, unless EA takes serious measures, there's no way they'll get it back up.
