Finally this is happening, yes you are seeing this right we actually have a video of a PS3 exclusive game before its release date, and this game is Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. It's a first, and hopefully it won't be the last time it happens. So let's all thank our new contributor TTP for this and his fine work! Hopefully we'll be able to show more of the game in the next few days too. Enjoy!
Update 3: TTP must have spent a long night capturing and reencoding all the videos again, but there they are, and this time they are as good as they can be! Many thanks to him!

I've had the PS3 since launch, and this is the second game in all that time that has me drooling all over the place in anticipation. The first being Heavenly Sword, and we know how that turned out - yuck. But from everything I have seen and heard about Uncharted, quite frankly delivers the goods and then some. Leave it to NaughtyDog to make that special delivery.

The last game Naughty Dog released was Jak III back in 2004. That means its been 3 years since they've released a game.
To be quite honest thats how it should be if you're a good developer. Rather than rushing sequels out asap, they should go back to the drawing board to either reinvent the series or bring something new to the table.
The fact that a sequel to Resistance is going to be released so soon can only be a bad thing as it means there's most likley going to be little change.
Personally I think Sony just want them to rush a sequel so they have more exclusives for their fall 2008 line-up.

Well. Considering uncharted is linear, and pretty closed in...there really isnt any excuse for it not to have at least decent graphics. I was kindof dissapointed on the physics side of things. Perhaps they finally used the Cell in conjunction with the RSX, and thats why it lacks more moveable objects.
The graphics make people overlook the fact that its area after area of enemys, with a minute or two of exploration...and linear exploration at that. It is, in fact, supposed to be a platformer.
Im not complaining, dont get me wrong, but really...the graphics have been done before, and GEoW still looks better by far.
Third person games always seem to look the best, because the camera is farthest away from everything. Textures will look sharper because of this, and normal maps will look more realistic as well. The closer you get to anything in Uncharted, the worse it looks.
