Here are the ten first minutes of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, Eidos' happy psycho-killer simulator. So here is a first video played solo, but a co-op mission should arrive soon. Needless to say, the game is a lot more fun while played with a buddy. Still far from a great game, but the plot manages to get some attention.
Update: 2nd mission of the game added (co-op).

for a game thats suposedly unplayable garbage, that looks pretty damn good tbh, extremely cinematic. definately got a high budget action movie feel to its presentation. while im not willing to fork out the cash for it due to the less then stella reviews, im definaterly excited to play it when my rental comes through.

My friend who got it told me that the story is among the best for a FPS he played so far. So it can't be that bad in the end. And I don't have to rent it after all, he gives it to me for a few days. ^^

IO is a superb studio but they need a better publisher. I'm ashamed on their part that they had to release this rubbish. A true next-gen studio degenerated into slavery under a money grabbing, Gestapo-tactics publisher.
Starbreeze under 2K games is faring much better, their Riddick and Darkness games actually look spectacular. DICE under EA isnt doing so well but they might be turning a new and better page with BF BC, we'll see. Remedy as independent under Microsoft's blessing will do something spectacular.

This game is the defenition of wasted potential, it could have been great if they a: had a bigger budget b: didn't rush it to get it out before christmas c: play testing play testing play testing play testing play testing play testing play testing play testing play testing play testing play testing play testing play testing play testing ect ect. :)

Well, the grafx are not the bad point of this game. they're okay, and not the most important. What frightens me more is the gameplay. Really not up to date. Bad animations, bad physics... there they could've done better! But I can imagine it brings however some fun. I heard the story is good. Some training for the gameplay, and this is a quite good game... well, that's what I see from this vids. But after all no buy for me.

Am I the only one who actually enjoyed this game? Like someone said, it's like freedom fighters, but this time beeing the bad guys.
It is one of the funniest games (or the funniest) I've played. Coop mode is awesome.

Co-op mode is totally better than solo. But I dunno why, I like this game. Maybe because the setting is different, unusual settings for gunfights, and rich plot and characters.
Well, It's a poorly realized game, but I love it.

If there is one thing this game taught me it's not to judge game purely based on reviews. I got it for pc, and while it had it's flaws (very uneven graphics, sometimes great sometimes horrible, and poor hit detection) characters certainly were interesting as were nearly all of the maps. Personally I like the game quite much.

a. they are so pissed off at Eidos or
b. they get frustrated easily.
Thats why you cant really pay attention to what other people say about the game because they don't see the game itself but how much they hated it. Because like I said, some people hate Halo for many reasons and they will rate the game low simply because "I hate it". I hate RPG's most of the time but if you put together all the gameplay and things to do in it, the game should always be rated on that and not by how much fun you have with it. That is why website reviews are better when making a decision about playing the game because they have to rate a game according to what it does right and mark it down for what it does wrong.
and from what i seen on its total overall ratings, this game is average. not "trash" or "terrible", but average. so anyone who tells you that this game is horrible or anything like that, they're wrong.

Well put. I'm doing this purely out of principles just in case the whole Eidos thing has any substance. I was actually looking forward to Kane & Lynch, so it's really too bad that it turned out as being just average.
Isn't Hei$t the next bank robbery game coming up? That looks like fun.

Seems like 90% of people here have no idea about this thing called opinion.
Example: Arcanum has score of 79% on gamerankings, yet that doesn't men everyone feels like it! Personally I would gime that game score of 95%

This game rocks! It's like an old action-movie and not current crap that you get today.
I have beaten this game already and I must say - this game is a must have for anyone, who plays games for it's storyline and not "awesome graphics" (even though graphics in the game are pretty nice)
