Just watched the second video, while it's obvious the physics are almost thrown out for the sake of gameplay, it still manages to feel more realistic than the previous Burnout games.

I too will download both demos to compare to see which one I'll buy.

wow that new crash mode looks freaking awful. they are pushing this game into the ground.

car checking was a stupid feature to add, now they add in this thing where you can crash, then continue to gain momentum? come on now ...

That game mode in the first video looks a bit too far fetched. Looks a bit silly the way the wreckage hops along the road unrealistically... Sense of speed in the second video is good though.

So now instead of a somewhat plausible crash mode we get magical bouncing cars.......seriously let this series die with dignity, do we really need another burnout game? It has become a bit like the dynasty warriors of the racing game genre.

This is why anything that EA touches has a really high chance of becoming crap. Burnout 2 was incredible and Burnout 3 added some things that started to look a bit worrying (specially music mind you), but it was still a great Burnout game.

Then EA really got into it with the next one. I guess they couldn't do much with B3 since they had just bought Criterion, but from there on, the series went straight to hell, and right now it has fallen so low I really doubt we'll see a come back.

"Revenge" and "car checking", even takedowns to a point..............and now bouncing cars.......WTF, I can't believe it.

Need for Speed was turned into crap, Burnout was turned into crap, EA has always been crap.

To hell with them, I won't buy this thing.

Seems like he bounced off a car unaffected by it way before the crash even happened. It's around 38 seconds. Or is it just me?

If you want a game like Burnout 2, play Flatout UC (but use custom soundtracks)

Whats wrong with bouncing cars? Looks kinda cool to me! Anything new to Burnout is cool with me! Seems like you all just want is the orignal burnout with new shiny graphics!

Gonna download for both PS3 and 360 and see if there is any difference since this game has been dev'd on the PS3 and ported to the 360

cant wait for the demo to hit xbox live this thing looks wicked... the graphics look great, and that crash at the end especially the flip was spectacular. can't wait to see the 360 version

as for porting to the 360 from the ps3, it should be darn good, the dev tools are alot better and its already provent hat the 360 is easier to program for so it should hold true that porting should be easier as well

Did you notice the Burnout in the second video? I'm really looking forward to playing it like Burnout 2 concerning the boost.

Oh man, I feel with you. This is absolutely CRAP! That bumping car shit is the most rediculous thing ever seen in a game!! never, never again a burnout will be so great as the 2nd title! R.I.P.
The grafx are cool, it runs very smooth, it looks spectacular... that's all about the positiv points.
No, I really am surprised anybody thinks this is cool... I'm really disapointed, 'caus I was looking hopefully on this title, it might be a good game. But this? Awfull.

yeh give it a chance, rest of the game looks great. The bouncing thing does remind you of kicking a tin can down the street , very pointless.

This is the only racing game I like.
