Rockstar releases about thirty images of Grand Theft Auto IV. Some are old, some have never been seen before. Textures are a bit blurry at times, but considering the size of the city, the game still manages to be quite impressive.
Update: Five portraits added, in order: Roman Bellic, Brucie, Elizabeta, Manny and Vlad.

Commented on 2007-12-20 21:55:07macphisto80 : Your comment is way off base. I don't need to be a car designer to comment on how cars look. I don't need to be an archetect to comment on the design of a building and I don't need to be a damn artist to look at these screen and see crappy textures!

Commented on 2007-12-21 03:26:20 In reply to SlipsliderNo, but you need to be in either of these professions to understand what it takes to get things looking at a certain level. Do you not think the devs would have already thought about adding super detailed high res textures to make everything look as good as they could? I'm 100% certain they would have if they could have. Obviously the hardware wasn't capable of delivering with acceptable loading times. When people see this game properly on their screens in motion, their tunes will change. Anyway, more intricate detail doesn't always equal better aesthetics from an artistic point of view.
