Xbox 360 PS3

The Devil May Cry 4 medias keep coming at a fast pace, with this time the intro video of the game.
Update: Added a (realtime?) cutscene, still from the beginning of the game.

US and EU sales were great, both DR/LP passed 1 million sales i think.

and JP sales were better than 20k, not by much but still better:

Oh my bad. Anyway, you can kind of understand why Capcom is porting LP so late in the game through these sales figures.

Yup, and like you said, it's probably for the sequel (Colonies?) which will most likely be on both consoles.

Well, yeah, saleswise LP and DR were AAA (the same cannot be said about review wise), only in the US though, the Japanese sales of these games don't even get past 20,000 units which is why they are porting LP to the PS3 so late in the game. Probably setting up the franchise for PS3 owners for the eventual release of the supposed LP: Colonies which is multiplatform. Anyway, I do agree with you that Capcom was prepared for next gen/current gen. They are one of the only major Japanese studios to release a title.
true (though DR was critically accclained) overall they did good job for new IP's. anyway their vision of games that appear to everyone not just japan is the direction the industry needs plus games that are multiplatform and overall made good (technology wise ). instead of being stuck in past like some companies, with loyalty in sony's ass (looking at you konami, SE,namco).

I don't see any problem with exclusives. They take advantage of the system being developed for and are fully optimized. The results are stunning as evidenced by the beauty and overall goodness of the PS3 and 360 exclusive titles.

unless if you are big company or SE, EA, etc with big pocket or are funded by 1st MS, Sony , ninty. we won't evidence those so called stunning graphics. even exclusives are having hard time convicing gamers amount upgrade being done to them

That's a moot point. The only companies that can afford to make exclusives are those big companies.
