Truth be told???DD. This is only your truth.
First, in rpgs or j-rpgs, the graphics are not the most important (FFVIII remains as one of the best j-rpgs ever, full of pixels and ugly graphics), and second, you´re only watching the images with vegetation, right? D... You say they have lost the touch, and the game is not creative... Since the beggining, the game is a CLASSIC j-rpg, Lost Odyssey is not here to innove the j-rpg, the game don´t try this. I can see the touch what you talking about, the touch that Square losted when Sakaguchi left the company.

What are you saying about the sales in Japan?? You know wath´s going on with Xbx360 in Japan, so, there´s nothing more to say about that. In japan, 360 games don´ t sell anything, but does It mean the games are bad? D

If Lost Odyssey were a PS3 exclusive your words would be different my friend.
Enjoy your PS3 super j-rpgs while others will enjoy the great Lost Odyssey on 360.
(Sorry, I would like to write better, but I´m from spain, so I´m doing wath I can)
Oh don't get me wrong Sebasrd24 man, Sakaguchi himself told Gamespot that he is going to trample on Square-Enix with what he is bringing on in RPGs, so you can't just say he didn't try to go beyond already greatest Japanese RPG standards... which he bitterly failed at, sorry but he just couldn't make it. Its my disappointment with him that I speak that much.

Moreover, a good game is good and a bad is bad, it doesn't matter on which system it is, I absolutely disliked Heavenly Sword, and truely love Bioshock... but if you call these two rpgs LO and BD by Sakaguchi, as even next-gen, I'm going to disagree no matter what !!!

Whell, you´re opinion is respectable of course, but I´m not agree at all. I ´m not calling LO next gen, I don´t need to call it next gen or super game, etc etc cause it´s a classic j-rpg (no matter Sakaguchi said to gamespot, the game speak itself, right?).
Maybe Sakaguchi said what he said to gamespot cause he think Square have lost their traditional way. Since Sakaguchi left the company, FFX-2, FFXI, FF: Dirge of Cerberus, FFXII(Innovation is welcome here but the story... Not deep, plain characters... It´s very important the story in a rpg, you know that), Fabula nova cristalis (One of them FFXIII to mobile) I don´t recognice you Square...

I love the classic FF (FF6, 7, 8, and 9) so I don´t need a FFXIII style here, full of innovations and matrix combats for example (I´m not throwing shit to FFXIII, when the game´s out, I´ll buy a PS3 for him) but I´m trying to say that the last FF I really enjoyed was FF9, and FFX... (Whell, not like FF7, 8 or 9, but it´s a good game) Lost Odyssey, to me, has the esence of classic FF games, you understand wy I love that game now? Lost Odyssey is not perfect, not the graphic killer, but I don´t need all of that, and people don´t say L.O it a bad game at all.

All the websites and magazines speak about Lost Odyssey like a CLASIC j-rpg, clasic style, clasic combat gameplay (with interesting elements) and most important, they speak about a sad and depp story, a deep character development and my eyes d´ont lie me, the game has an incredible art direction TO ME.
One more thing, I love the character design, but you should know I love Takehiko Inoue´s work, he is the best manga artist to me (Vagabond, Slam Dunk, Real)

Hey, nice to speak with you ;)

you guys are going back and forth over opinions..face it, you have 2 diferent opinions and thats all it is, your opinion, so youre not going to agree, just shut up about it allready.

IMO Lost Odyssey looks great and it is at this point my most anticipated game of 2008 and i can't wait for it. Classic Final Fantasy style J-RPG, been waiting for it since FFX!
