D3 and Digital Extremes release some new images of Dark Sector. I have zero confidence in the quality of this game but I have to admit that, except for the terrible main character, the screens look quite cool.
I'm waiting to see if the game has a story line as intriguing and involved as a Resident Evil title. I could care less for this game if it's just going to be action from one stage or level to the next. That's already been done with Gears of War. The graphics however for this game will be hard to beat as they are quite impressive.
Whats crazy to me is that you people notice framrate issues and choppy animations. I never notice that stuff, so it never bothers me. IT would have to really really bad for me to see it. Its funny cause Im good at picking of details in tv and movies but I must be blind on games-lol.
I'm going to pick it up. I dont' think the glaive ruins the flow of combat. The animation, while not the best, is quick and using the glaives ability to transfer energy (fire, electricity etc) seems novel.
I would have dug it if they stuck with the space theme like before, but this looks fun.

1. It has some things in common with GoW
2. They drastically changed the looks of the game
I watched the old trailer again recently. It's no contest, new > old. The majority of previews lately have been praising the game quite a bit too.
