Looks like their recipe for success is "Take real-time lighting, make it dynamic, create objects that utilize it, add sticky tape."

Seriously though, this game looks great. Might be my first survival horror title.

Ah, the marvel of sticky tape...how nice indeed. I really hope that the player needs to utilize those techniques instead of just shooting his way trough the game.

Sure it looks nice when you take a quick glance at it, but seriously that is a bit gimmicky. I can't see myself doing elborate maneuvers like that, I would've just thrown the damn bomb in the beginning.

I worry about that as well. My fingers are crossed though because it's looking great so far.

What? I'd hardly say they overdid anything especially to the point of being compared to PDZ. Care to elaborate?

you know what, this game looks amazing graphically

I really like how you can combine stuff to create new weapons and ideas, and the use of the tube light was brilliant

I guess i shouldn't underestimate this game in the alone in the dark series, been keeping an eye since the initial announcement and my interest has only grown more, will definently get it

oh and the music is great

I wish anti-Americans had better command of the english language when they insult our intelligence. As it stands, witless jabs like the above sound like they're coming from Borat.
The english language, is an english language, originally from england.. Which as you hopefully know isnt in America.
Your comment didnt sound very intelligent either ;)

I can't wait a demo for this game. Looks brilliant, with a lot of very good ideas, cool athmosphere, and hopefully a good gameplay. Definitively keeping an eye on this!!!!

Really cool. I think ordinary HUD inventory system is bad for atmosphere and realism. This is how its done. Hopefully it is not too complicated to use in action. Allso highly interactive environment and items are big plus. Hopefully level desing is as innovative too. Knowing that most of "horror" games are nothing but endless dark corridors and sewers whit couple of lame creatures standing behind the corner. Like on Doom3 and Condemned. In my opinion those games got utterly boring really fast.

Then they'd have to add a rubber band, a paper clip and a straw. How else are we going to solve mysteries?

This movie actually makes the game look kind of cool. I wan't to see how it plays in something that isn't a test environment/playground for sticky tape though.
