Don't like the control & feel, the art is very attractive but dang, it just doesn't feel right.
In fact, the vibration just go on & on for no reason whenever i attack someone, without tuning properly for the game.

Why does this game remind me so much of "Hunter the Reckoning"?

Yeah, its very reminescent of hunter the reckoning, and have to admit with 3 friends i went throught hunter in 1 single night. Now i have to agree Monster Madness controls are 3D even tho the game is top down, meaning you have to aim where you walk and where you shoot. They take time getting used to. Much like the controls on Small Arms too time figuring out.

The game has a great art style, and id say im loving the graphics also.

Not to mention the VS mode will probably add alot of gameplay since its basically 3D smash bros. Hope they add more characters for VS mode. game is full of potential.

I'll probably be one of the few but I actually liked the demo. The controls are hard, when you start the learning curve is nearly vertical. After a while though you get used to them. I think the difficult controls coupled with enemies that take a lot more damage to kill than games like GeoWars/SmashTV (similar games with similar control styles) make a lot of people have a bad first impression.
I'm also probably biased as well since I've been looking forward to a 4 player same-screen/online co-op type game since like forever.
My only beef is that the game may price itself out of the market. While I don't think it belongs in the budget realm (or in the XBLA realm as a lot of morons seem to think) pricing it at the full $60+ seems like a bad idea.
I may buy the game but I'll have to see how the first impressions (reviews) of the full game go.

Hey, finally someone who likes this game, i thought i was the only one. This game has been on my radar since i 1s heard about it, and the whole physics engine and gametype. And yes, the controls arent easy, but theyre not bad, they simply take time. And the ennemies are a bit more challenging, but you get satisfaction from clearing a room. Also the VS mode is simply great.

Now lets hope they add unlockable characters for the VS mode.

yall not the only one, i liked it too. The only thing im worried about really is the price. They gonna have a hell of a time trying to sell this if its for $60 bucks. But i cant way to play co-op on this game in the full version.

fun demo but I'm sure it'll lack longetivity and definately wouldn't buy it if it's standard retail price ($70)

Yeah price is always an issue, great games like Rockstar Table Tennis and Viva Pinata were simply not with enough material to them to explain the price.

This game is sort of Strategy game, you cannot survive if you do not move to certain rooms to stop the enemies you will die on Thriller or Madness.

I certainly Immersion Games fix this game before launch, if not there should be a couple of these fixes in a patch.
