Snoopers and Bryan got *very* lucky yesterday and got invited to a visit at Lucasarts great offices near the Golden Gate Bridge yesterday, and went back with a nice interview (coming in a few hours) and some official videos of Star Wars: Force Unleashed, along with an image gallery.

Looks awesome for sure! The physics and graphics are amazing and the scope of the environments....wow! A.I is terrible though, that really needs working on and the pacing isn't all there either.

Nevertheless, this game is really looking promising and is definitely among my most anticipated games now. Just hope they won't screw this one up.

Seeing as how this is a rather early build the framerate is guaranteed to be much, much better in the final version. Lucas Arts also realized that porting a game from 360 to PS3 is harder than to port it from PS3 to 360 since its harder to develop for the PS3. By doing this they decided to use the PS3 as the main platform, to be able to optimize the game so it undoubtedly will look and play exactly the same on all the versions, without having to push back deadlines and development time.
A bit out of topic all of this, but great news seeing as this is setting a new standard (as dmc4 and burnout paradise already have) regarding multi-platform titles, in terms of quality, which we all love of course. Thankfully both Sony themselves and Insomniac are releasing tools and engines that encourages this way of developing games. -Do it for the PS3 first and all of your problems disappears. Hopefully this will make all the devs out there understand how it should be when developing multi-platform games so that none of the versions suffer in any way. Regarding the game itself, it looks fakking awesome, it already looks superb in terms of graphics and level design. Now I'm just waiting to get to see something else than a physics demonstration. ^_^
