Xbox 360 PS3

Sega releases two bunchs of screenshots of Condemned 2: Bloodshot, one showing the Xbox 360 version and the other the PS3 version. As you know if you watched our last Gamersyde Diaries, we can't wait to spend endless nights on this promising sequel.

As an owner of both the PS3 and Xbox 360, it's irritating to see the former's games frequently suffering from a lack of anti-aliasing (AA) when the latter's has it. This is particularly apparent in multiformat games from the likes of EA and Ubisoft.

It really does seem to be coming an issue for the console IMO and one that makes it seem inferior to the 360 in the same way that the PS2 games were always considered graphically inferior and somewhat jaggy compared with Xbox ones (even though Xbox games rarely used AA either). Damn that GeForce 7800 GTX-based RSX chip!!!

I'd love to be able to buy more multiformat games for my PS3, if only for a change, but based on those screenshots I'll be buying Condemned 2 for the Xbox 360.

I won't judge the game by these screen shots. I'll wait for some gamersyde comparison vids before I jump to either side of the fence.
