Really this looks to be a fantastic title. Wholly original and very interesting. Great job guys, keep up the good work! This is the kind of stuff I like to see!

If they're trying to imitate the world, they might want to look outside... we don't live in such a crisp and clean environment, haha. I do like the visual style though.
The game is fictional, and that world is suppose to be a Utopia.

Exactly. Somehow I just feel this will abit more earthbound and not so fantasy dreamlike like Breakdown. Gawd I loved that title (even though it was frustrating as hell)
I also doubt the quality of these screens. But lets see. The final quality might not be totally far off. I mean, take away the AA and a bit in the precision in the lighting engine and we would be pretty close to a quality we've already seen before in other games.
it might look like that on Pc, but on the 360...and ps3...hell no.
also, if it plays even an ounce like breakdown. then thats it, i'd give it the finger never to look at it again. hated that game so much, made even the simplest task a chore.

I agree. Don't get me wrong, I love the concept of this game and it's what I've been looking for in game for a long, long time...if properly executed.

This game has MAJOR potential and if well executed, it will be the game I've been looking for all my live. But, there's just so many things that can go wrong with this concept, I'll just wait and see how this game pans out before I start getting too excited.

The problem with breakdown was hardly eating rations, what was really annoying was that the controls were so bad that everything became so hard that you wanted to rip your own guts out with a spoon after five minutes. Even so i still liked it enough to play through it. The concept was nice.
If this is anything like breakdown only with controls that does not warrant harakiri with blunt objects, then this is something to look out for :)
Mirror's Edge is set in what you might call a hyperrealistic world. Every building is snow white and odored with glossy, mirror-finished windows. It's hyperbolic—the buildings are more buildingy than normal buildings—as if all creative/quirky architecture has been sapped in the interest of militaristic city planning precision. (Ed note: unfortunately, the graphics are disappointingly not quite as razor sharp as these screens would otherwise suggest).
