Angol Fear looks cooler than the goofy elf chick.
I think that it's "Angol Fear" as it says on the page.
:O)
yeah, but going with the katakana its fia, angoru fia
Kana sucks.
Amy was one of the shop keepers?
:p
Anyone know if they've confirmed that you can use custom characters online yet?
edit: oh just found it on the wiki that it's in there! http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3160573
Oh. My. God. So much win in this game. The doujinshi artists are going to have a blast with it. Seriously, fuck Itagaki and his plastic dolls.
I don't mind Amy but the girl on the left seems too much like a guilty gear character than a soul calibur character.
so much hotter than tekken and doa, and so much bigger chests this time around
aww bless you Namco!

As for Amy, to me she just looks like yet another boring-as-fuck character that I can't see anyone getting excited about.
To be honest though, I dislike most girl characters in fighting games. I don't really get any satisfaction from being really quick and feeling like my attacks have no weight behind them. Plus, I get frustrated when fighting against them; I always feel like they're cheap.

Amy has drill pigtails, which is a recent craze as far as character design in Japan. See... everything for a reason.
That an accurate assessment?
So what I inferred from what you just wrote was "Amy's creator isn't very creative."
That an accurate assessment?
However I personally do like the design just fine, I'm basically fully positive on the thing.
I absolutely hate anything remotely schoolgirlish in the context of fighting games. I'm just so angry that these characters are being "revealed" to us like some kind of fantastic surprise, when in reality, they look like a bunch of second-rate characters that you couldn't pay me to use.
