After a first episode they wish we'd forget, Vivendi strikes back and gives us five screenshots of 50 Cent II: Blood in the Sand. The game is supposed to be a Gears of Wars Clone, with Fifty and his G-Unit crew shooting around somewhere in Iraq. Promising...
Update: 1 image added, and previous ones in 1080p. Release planned "this fall".

The hate for this game has NOTHING to do with racism, everyone hates this game because it features a shitty untalented rapper called 50 cent, who likes to portray himself like a real bad ass, when he in fact is just an untalented little pussy fart who will do anything to get more money.

The first fifty cent game was a fucking disaster, and this has about a 0,0001% chance of being good.

This game WILL SELL! Not gears of war numbers but it will do pretty good. Me personally hate all of 50cent music but my brother on the other hand own all of 50cent music even got the first game which I amit was a decent game. Basically what iam getting at because of people like my brother this game will sell a decent amount. Also to the dude who said 50cent had no talent well for 50cent to be a millionaire a lot of people must think otherwise.

The last game wasn't exactly bad.. It was just average. Average story, average gameplay, etc. This will probably end up average too, but I'll be surprised if it ends up above average. Besides, with the gameplay they're cloning from(killswitch, not gears), it should end up ok.

Sidenote: While backpacking in the middle east we had the pleasure of naming a newborn kitten. The irony seemed fitting to name it 50 cent at the time though we never told the owner it's true meaning (ignorance is bliss so to say).

i really don't see why everybody is so pissed about this game. i never played the last and will not play this, but from the screenshots this doesn't look so different from many other games, like say, Army of Two which so many people here were so pumped up about. Like, two guys, terrorist, middle east scenario? It's just as stupid. Like, here you have two rappers who were not payed and go on a killing spree to get their money (ok, some sort of skull); in army of two you of have to guys who pimp their guns and fist pound after killing squads of enemies, what's more stupid?

So what exactly is wrong with that? It's a horribly stupid use of a license, what's not to hate about that? That's sorta like saying it would be appropriate to put a country music skin on Metal Gear Solid, or I don't know, Yoda and Darth Vader in Soul Calibur 4. Never mind the fact that any way you spin it, this doesn't look interesting or good. Maybe you missed the part about the diamond encrusted skull?

This wreaks of cheap cash-in. So it has passable graphics, that's supposed to make it interesting? I'm glad they made this game though, because otherwise I'd be missing out on all of these stellar "50 pence" comments.
