Call of Duty 4 DLC images

Activision will be releasing a bunch of maps for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which will all be released next month on PSN and the Marketplace. See the images inside.

Fresh intel from Activision headquarters (Nasdaq: ATVI) reports that new global conflicts are planned in the form of downloadable multiplayer maps for the award-winning Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™. In development for both Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the upcoming downloadable content will thrust gamers into a hot zone of added combat across a variety of intense multiplayer locales.
“We’ve demonstrated our commitment to delivering the best multiplayer experience in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and that continues with our plans for new downloadable content,” explains Infinity Ward’s Community Manager, Robert Bowling. “We’re excited about the new maps, and the added gameplay variety, and we can’t wait to wrap things up and get online with everyone.”
The worldwide best-selling game in units of 2007, according to The NPD Group, Chart Track and The GFK Group, and winner of more than 40 editors’ choice and game of the year honors, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is rated “M” (Mature) by the ESRB for Intense Violence, Strong Language, Blood and Gore. The new downloadable content is scheduled for release this spring, and will be available on Xbox LIVE® and PlayStation Network.

Too much whining here, go get a job.
Keep thinking that way and next they will charge you extra for more ammo. No one wants them to head the way of EA!
Im sure ive seen CoD2 maps that have been redone for CoD4 on the server list.
On PC just goto Filters and enable all Mods and you get loads of maps and mods! Zombie mod is pretty cool!
Sucks your console guys have to pay for them! Just means you split the community into two groups like with Halo 3. Stupid really.

Group without map pack cant always play with the people with the maps! Splits them up. Unless everyone just plays the stardard maps...

I think he means there are no real online communities on the consoles..
One thing is for sure, if the industry keeps going like this with DLC etc on the consoles there never will be.. And maybe that is what they want, because communities can get to powerfull, can make or break them (like on PC).. The Industry doesn't like that "threat", they want to be 100% in control, so they can do whatever they want to make as much money as possible.. Keep gamers/consumers split, makes them less powerfull, and less of a threat..
And it's a shame people who make comments like afarber (stop whining, get a job) weren't born in a poor 3rd world country.. I'm sure he would talk a little bit different then.. Less egocentric like I have a good life and job, plenty of money so I can afford it all so don't care, the rest are just whiners..
I can afford it aswell, easily, but I'm not that egocentric, I do care..

im just sure i heard somewhere that the halo 3 maps were social only, and if thats true am just wondering if this will be the same

Just remember, I'm just presuming things here, tbh I don't know (and don't really care as I don't play the Xbox 360 version).. On the PC you can play custom maps as "ranked" maps aswell though..
