THQ and JAKKS Pacific announce the development of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 on almost every platform available, including the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It will be possible to create its own finishing move (Create-A-Finisher), to complete some storyline events in co-op (Road to Wrestlemania) and download more content online.

I can't comment on Uncharted as I haven't played it, but I will agree that Halo 3 looks anything but bland. I got back into playing a lot of it lately, and for me, it's the best looking game on the 360. I'll stress it again...*for me*

Its the best looking game on consoles for me.

hey...you guys are nut u all know these are from early version and tna been indevelopment for two years and if the rumor is true both games are coming out on the same day then thq are nuts rushing it what about the glitches and stuff.

for people complaing about the graphics read what my boy mike from gamingring said who seen 09 live idk if it was running on the 360 though.

Smackdown vs Raw 2009, was of course shown. At this point I think it looks pretty damn good. The graphics are a huge step up from last year. However, the one thing that I didnt like is that the graphics at this early stage look very CG. The best way I can describe it is that in one of the previous Smackdown games there was a completely CG intro. The quality level is of that standard. Which isnt necessarly a bad thing its just not the style I perfer personally.

There was a statement made in the press conference that I DID have a problem with. They were talking about how they take a look at their competition to make Smackdown vs Raw 2009 better. I didnt have a problem with that. They should. They should be competitive and go out and make the best game out there on the market. They should have done that when they didnt have competition but thats a subject for another debate. No what I have a problem with is the statement that was made after. Basically he commented about the fact that roster for TNA Impact only had 20 Superstars.

there u have it cg graphics and a huge step in graphics.

my problem is i know its early but why do tna and smackdown have crap hair and both version screen are not hd real screen who ever took them kinda washed out i seen the vids.

But isnt the 360 a year ahead from the ps?

that goes to uncharted for me. and while the 360 could probably pull it off too. the fact remains that it is yet to do it. halo, gears, bioshock, mass effect. all great looking games (well, besides halo which wasnt even 720p) but nothing has matched uncharted levels of graphical fidelity. and untill they do all screenshots like this prove is that the devs arnt putting enough effort into the ps3 ports. they cant be if games like uncharted exist on the ps3 which blow all games out of the water visually. (besides PC games like crysis)

imo tho, these screen look crap on both consoles, they just look even worse on the ps3.

Lack of 720 notwithstanding, that little parenthetical reeks of pure anti-Halo sentiment.

but uncharted being the better looking game i see as fact. no game has come close to its fluid animation system. or its effects from its reactive water to the fact said water actually progressivly wets your clothes. i mean, by all means give an example of a technically superiour title and i'll take it into acount. but the likes of gears/bioshick or mass effect (i think you can agree those are the best the 360 has to offer) dont come close. but again. *I* see it as fact. so its just an opinion again. i should get right on that disclaimer eh?

Well, people don't typically refer to their opinions as fact such as you did. I was merely asking if you meant it was a fact that your opinion was what you had said or if you actually thought your opinion was some kind of absolute truth.
