Erm... what is the point in posting 1280x992 resolution pictures from the PS2 and Wii versions of the game when they're both 720x480 consoles? That just suggests to me that the screenshots have been touched up as I'd expect them to look a lot more jaggy than that when blown up 2X as they are here... ;)

Hmm, I think in this case, where a game is immersive and atmospheric, the graphics do matter a great deal. At the same time, however, why deprive people who maybe cannot afford the jump up to PS3, 360 and Wii the chance to play this on their PS2? It's still a very viable platform, and as God of War 2 proved, you can actually create some pretty games for it.
I would definitely get the 360 version of this game over the Wii, but only because of the immersion factor outlined above. If I only had a Wii, I would probably get it anyway, because that would be my only system! It's a no-brainer really, that few people on here seem to understand.

I got worried for a second there when I checked the pics but didn't notice platform lol
There's more PS2s in the world than 360s so I can understand why they still trying... I didn't buy and PS2 game since GoW2 lol and before that I think it was Bully

And once again, system power is more than just graphics. If you really think so highly of the Wii you should probably get one and see what it's really about. I own all 3 platforms. Personally I wouldn't call the Wii 'last gen' it's just taking a completely different route. Good marketing and cutting costs, to ensure a great profit, and those things in particular I can't respect Nintendo for.
Also, I didn't mean how successful a game is sales-wise, but how successful it is critically. No More Heroes is a great example of that, being a good game, but with poor sales. I definitely don't think a game should be rated by its sales, and so marketing has nothing to do with that.
But anyway, we're entering a whole world of pain in this debate, as it really is stupidly complex and opinion-based. My main point was to try and get across that the Wii isn't old-gen, and on that, it seems we agree.
