WTF with Monolith??? They made such nice games like NOLF1/2 and TRON2.0 and now what? j.A.S.S. - jUST Another Shitty Shooter?
I want NOLF3!
the first war repetative as fuck and had practically no story, but i wouldnt mind playing this. it'll be a rental tho, no matter how good it may be.
When it comes to actual plot, FEAR > Condemned by a long shot.
i hope this new one follows in the same steps as the first one on the pc and doesn't turn out to be another shitty console port like splinter cell DA etc.
but thus far it looks quite promising.
FEAR has an awesome story.. there's just no narrative. There's a big difference.
When it comes to actual plot, FEAR > Condemned by a long shot.
not in my opinion it doesnt, the whole alma/cannibal guy (forgot his name) was just crappy imo. plot, narrative, story....everything sucked in it. the gamplay was good, shooting mechanics and the AI where top, some of the best ever imo. but then the games setting and story where just crap/non existant. after the first level you practically saw all the environments in the whole game...lol
I wonder if... You have supernatural powers of some kind in this game. It's been revealed through the original games plot that you're indeed Alma's son, and you're brother (you know, "the cannibal") was raised/developed with psychic abilities in mind. This already explained their use of bullet time in FEAR (your enhanced reflexes are actually psychic reflexes), but it'd be cool if they expanded upon this.
Monolith hasn't lost their touch. They still create some of the most compelling first person games around.
