Xbox 360 PS3

We forgot to tell you about the first images of Darksiders : Wrath of War, an apocalyptic and spectacular beat-them'all unveiled by THQ during their San Francisco's Gamers Day. Visually, it certainly looks promising. The game is planned to be released in early 2009 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

sorta reminds me of Lost Planet... but on steroids!!!
I hope it's nothing like Lost Planet; that game felt like such an unbelievable chore to play.

Crap, why are all games so damn grey and boring these days? Every new announced game looks the same to me, kind of.
I don't really agree with that at all. People were complaining about Dark Sector being too brown and grey. Hell, that game was gorgeous and vibrant. Not drenching everything in gaudy colours makes the colours that are there "pop!"

i dont think it looks that great technically, just like a typical heavily bump mapped game like doom 3 or prey. also i can imagine the gamplay being quite shallow, artistically tho i like it. it has a pretty cool style with the giant hands and swords.

actually it's beat 'em up, or brawler.

Either way it looks awesome.
You're right, I did some search and it seems like "beat'em all" is in fact the french way to say "beat'em up" since the 90's. How weird.

That's right, some times I forget you guys are from France.

Not that it really matters on these little paragraphs but if you guys are ever unsure about a translation or think even though technically correct the "wording" or structure may seem odd you guys are more than welcome to e-mail me with what you have and I will rearrange or reword it (while keeping the original meaning) so it doesn't sound as "translated". I am (unfortunately for me) around my PC most of the day Monday through Saturday so I can reply fairly quickly.

ah, just checked it out now. looks cool. animation is better then too human, but then they also looks incredibly repetative, and noticably so. but they are more weighty if that makes sense, hit detection seems just as bad atm tho imo.

could go either way, i cant imagine it being very well received critically, but thats just me. seems like a 7/10 sort of game to me as it is. hopefully we'll get a decent action game out of it.
