Some new concept art has been added to the official Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe's website. For the first time ever, Batman, Superman and other superheroes will be able to challenge Scorpion, Sub-Zero and their friends in am unexpected production.
Well if you know good how things are... some comments can be missed.... Ed Boon said that he always had dreamed a crossover game just like Marvel vs Capcom... his first idea, from old times, was to make a crossover about MK vs Street Fighters or MK vs Tekken... but in this case two SH can't work together... so, because he was a DC fan, at last he has made this game... and I think, hearing the story and the gameplay how will be, that this will be the best fighting game, for now, in the next-gen console!
their will still be the whole finish him moments its just that they won't be as gruesome with decapitations and such. more like a super ruffing up or deaths from afar like superman hitting someone with a meteor. I don't know just guessing from what the creator keeps saying on the topic.

Just to note a typo mistake here, it's "an unexpected production.", not "am unexpected ...".

I do, however, think removing Fatalities is pretty ridiculous as that's pretty much all MK has; it's a shitty fighter.

I'm a little lost as well, I don't really understand what the huge fuss is over.
I can understand the hardcore MK fans being upset. For years they promised that they'd be doing a "true next gen" version of Mortal Kombat, and I think we all expected this to be it, the fact they've turned it into a cross over thing, with practically all the violence gone is a big blow to the fans, but I still think it could make a pretty cool game.
The interview with Ed Boon was quite interesting, with how it would turn into, like a boxing game when you get in close to your opponent to deal some heavy blows to each other.

It's not very different conceptually.. but what is wrong with it is that there hasn't been a good Mortal Kombat game.. well.. ever. MK1-2-3 were pretty decent games, but hardly great, and none of the newer MK games are really worth playing. The DC source material is great too.. they've just had bad luck in the world of gaming.
This doesn't look like it's going to change anything.

Captain America jumping out from nowhere, then iron man flying in.. Doomsday friggin out and owning everyone and then superman teams up with captain america and own everything.
oh and batman stands still, looking cool..cause he's the friggin batman.

Boon says clearly that Superman weakness are magic and cryptonite.... so the MK world is based on magic powers, so Superman will be a normal fighter and will not have immortality and immunity

then what? with Superman's moral issues and beliefs, he isn't going to rip the spine off anyone or kill!
The cool thing on this game is the fact that the war isnt from good vs evil, but MK world vs DC world... so for the first time ever we can see fight Kitana and her evil sister Mileena together to kick the thin Wonderwoman & Catwoman assess.... good & evil fo every world allied to kill the other! Very cool.... the Konquest, how Boon says, will be awesome... you will chose your side (MK or DC) and you will live this invasion from both sides... so if you chose MK side, you will see how MK guys thinks and act when they see that this strange world invades their... same from the other side... then, after you've chose your side, you will use EVERY warrior from that world, and not with only one stupid warrior like Deception/Armageddon!
Ah another cool thing is that in fighting you can lesionate the opponent not only in face, but in all the parts of the body, and you can broke also opponent costume!
