Capcom takes advantage of the last hours before its Captivate08 event - where the company will reveal several information on its games to come, of which Resident Evil 5 (trailer, images, information) - to send these three screenshots of its cult survival-horror. Yes, you probably already saw them in the Famitsu magazine. Patience!

I hope the Gears Of War jump-in/jump-out style of gameplay isn't true. Co-op is perfectly fine for me, but it has to be in Mercenaries or separate missions like with ADA in RE4, or Hunk in RE2, etc. No way will playing the game with an A.I. character all the time be cool with me. Can you imagine playing RE4 all the time with either Ashley, Ada or Luis? Not me. They were cool characters because they spiced up the story and gameplay from time to time, and were not puppets. I don't need any pocket dog following me around.
I'm very afraid they changed the formula too much. I can't wait for the trailer and info, supposely many story elements will come to light, and we will know for sure how it plays, or have a good idea at least. COME TO ME TRAILER!

RE5 with co-op would be epic, but I agree with Kudgel that there should also be an option to solo without friendly AI. I'd love to play it both ways but RE is always something I want to play SP first.

These shots are kinda lame. I just want to see more footage of the two new mystery girls, and at least a hint of the new gameplay system that will supposedly shock fans.

I can imagine age rating boards getting them to change the colour of the zombies skin as it may "offend" people, I mean hell in England we can't even fly our flag as it may "offend" immigrants people of of certain religion.
