Gears of War 2 images

Here are some new images with varying resolution of the multiplayer mode from the tactical videogame Gears of War 2 scheduled for November 2008. Some of the heroes look like characters from Too Human. The atmosphere seems to be in place.
Update: These images were scans and have been removed.

there were baddas now there just sissy ,i mean the guys are 2 by 2 meters and got big ass guns,and now there using a shield a fucking shield.
it doesnt even fit the game ,i looks so out of place.

Btw unlike some people, I actually like the characters. There's just something about Marcus Fenix ... I dunno, he's just one of my favourite characters ever to play as. True story.
Some say the muscles are OTT - I think that it's a change from all these 'pretty boys' in videogames. They genuinely look like they could be soldiers to me. The banter between them is also realistic imo. I mean, did you expect them to discuss global warming or something? They don't have degrees, they're not clever, so 'banter' is what they should be all about.
Like others have said, it's shaping up to be my personal GOTY. Can't wait to hear more in the (hopefully) near future.

Gears of war online is one of the most intense, brutal, sadistic, satisfying and even frustrating from host issues ever.. You play this game online, and it is just amazing, grenade tagging, headshots that never EVER get tiring, curb stomps, the whole pick your team mate aspect, strategic elements of flanking, torque bows, the amount of bitching and whinning people do when they get owned..just sweet..just..friggin sweet
dude, gears is nothing until you played it online..and to be honest, noone is waiting really for the single player side of gears of war 2..everyone who is a fan of gears is lookng forward to the online multiplayer
i just don't know why it is awesome, it just is..must the 3rd person perspective, the great graphic or the amazing animation, bodies dropping when you pop a head, i dunno..just is another level online
unless you experience the online side of gears for what it is..shit, you can't say nothing about this game. Just like we say to players who ain't used to the online side, you're a n00b and this ain't your halo, son!

- glitches and bugs everywhere in MP. Not even 3 Patches could bring a solution.
It's not fun, it never was for me. Only SP was good in my eyes.

It's close, but I think i'm looking forward to the SP a little more than the MP. MP will still be amazing though, and i'm expecting Gears of War 2 to offer the complete experience.

You do have a point regarding glitches and bugs, i mean gears is one of the most played games online on the xbox360 and they couldn't fix it? gears of war 2 should cover these issues
Surprised alot of gamers like it for the single player, after i got into the multiplayer, i just loved it for the multiplayer side and that is what is making me wait for gow2, pwnage online :D
