The Collective's Silent Hill: Homecoming was also at IDEF, and we brought you two gameplay videos showcasing both levels of the PS3 demo. Commented on 2008-06-27 20:41:29And it looks like most of the scarry environmental touches are just dead bodies, like the one hanging from the ceiling. Silent Hill has always gone for more screwed up things, like barbeque'd dogs and unidentifiable twitching substances, and things that just can't be explained. That's what always made the atmosphere great. But just a bunch of dead bodies lying around? That's like Jericho :\

and that makes you think about things you've never would have even noticed. It seems very silent hill to me. the puzzles, the strange characters, the dark and dingy building.
plus, these are gameplay montages, that's why it may seem "hobbled" together..
I'm not defending it as a game, but rather as something that shouldn't be so heavily judged just yet.
