Sony and Sucker Punch, the creators of Sly Racoon, release three new images of InFamous, their free-roaming action game filled with super-powers, dark textures and scary lightnings. We can expect a kind of gloomy Crackdown, and it's planned to hit the streets somewhere in 2008.
Update: 720p versions added.

awesome, it looks quite promising. *now it's only a matter of time, until the xbox boys come and say how much this game is gonna fail. sighs. it's really disgusting what gaming has come to.

The irony of that is that 90% of the time its the ps3 fanboys that are moaning, marking 360 games down due to a complete inferiority complex leading them to fill countless message boards about how every site is biased towards the ps3 because they dare try and tell you that ps3 versions of games are lesser than those on the 360. Ofcourse the fact that an exclusive game like mgs4 (that would actually sell sonys console) got high reviews from all these "biased" sites doesnt seem to wipe their professional victim tears clean and show them not everybodys out to get them. No, instead they would rather live in a bubble of self denial, where they can tel themselves that Haze (being an exclusive) is actually good. That ristance 2 looks better graphically than gears 2. That multiplatform games run and look better on their console. That every single site that disagrees is in microsofts pocket (untill a positive review comes along and then that site is the only site that speaks the truth).

Never before has a generation witnessed such consistant moaning than that that comes from the ps3 owner...this is why your games dont sell as much, because you spend too much time on forums complaining rather than buying, and enjoying, games. The majority of 360 owners dont give a damn...as they're too busy actually playing their console.

I think prototype will be better then this. Graphics wise it don't look all that good the only thing that do look good is the character model. But that's just my opinion before any one feel the need to respond to my opinion.

but the looks arent everything.
i KNOW how prototype is going to play and it plays awesome.

if you dont believe me play the incredible hulk ultimate destruction.
prototype has the soul of that game in it(sorry couldnt find a better reference)

edit:i know that those pictures a realy bad quality because they are from a gameplay movie fromgametrailers.
but if you have any sense you know this game looks better then prototype.
if you cannot see that,you wil even say tetris looks better then crysis.

actually looks better than I thought it would (even with a realistic amount of aliasing added) - could be an interesting title after all, although I don't buy games for their looks

You took everthing the wrong way I never comparing prototype graphics with this game. I just said over all I believe prototype will be better then this game. Then I went on to say this game graphics don't look all that good. But I didn't compare the two graphics because both games to me look like garbage visually and isn't worthy of comparing.

Btw crysis is the best looking game out there......

Then Microsoft must be so insecure that they had to

-copy both the Wii and PS3,

-side with the Wii to make a "package deal" agains the PS3

-go to the opening day of the PS3 in some country and harass people in line

If that's not insecure, I don't know what is.
