Pandemic released this long video of Mercenaries 2: World in Flames showing the different way to play the same mission with each of the three characters in the game. Looks like the delay was very beneficial there, the framerate seems much better, with only a tad too much tearing.

Don't worrry, you'll be able to do everything with every character. Perhaps their stats are a little bit diffrerent, but they're still more skins than mercs with completely different skillsets.

It looks really rough graphically and not that much better than the version show from over a year ago! The screen tearing really is quite horrendous and there doesn't appear to be any anti-aliasing; if it ships like that then I certainly won't be buying it, no matter how good it turns out to be. Looks OK when nothing is moving though!!! :P

It looks to be as fun as the first one! Texture work can be better here and there, but graphical orgy is not the point of this game. The point is destruction! Muehehehe
