Japan Expo: Wii games

Japan Expo: Wii games

Japan Expo again, with a short montage of the few Wii games available on the showfloor... and the people playing them, of course. They jumped, danced, ran and giggled on We Cheer and Wii Family Trainer, and for those who might be interested in purchasing them, beware, you'll look just like this :)

Those look pretty fun. Especially the running game
Dunno how the cheerleading will fly, but I guess any game similar to Samba De Amigo can't go wrong, especially aiming for girls

They're still making Wii games? That new Zelda better be good.

You're right. Doing something different from what games have been for decades is a money making scheme and not at all a risk
I'm sure fun and creativity is the last thing Nintendo has ever thought about

How is it creative when in your first post you compared it to another game years prior, or the fact that all the games shown require the same thing as games in arcades across America. All they did was add visuals.

That said, I wouldn't play any of these given the price.

Do you even own a Wii

I get really tired of defending this system on Gamerysde, I should just give up. I'm convinced no one on this site even owns the system aside from myself. Every Wii video is just the same thing

Damn! There's nothing particularly offensive to me about a family-friendly Wii game, but I'm allergic to ultra-casual games...

I'm pretty sure Nintendo doesn't need you to defend their console, nor do they care that people are "bashing" it.

well if you think waving you arms like your trying to jerk of 2 guys at the time is creative then yeah.

the only realy good wii games i have almost dont even use the sensor bar(i dont have metroid but thats the only game that makes good use).

most of this kind of games replace button bashing by,waving your arms or things like that.
the only game i realy injoyed on my wii where:zelda;super smash bross',resident evil 4'the godfather;and super mario galaxy.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but the cheerleader game looks fun.

What's up?
  • blmbox
blmbox Yeah, but judging by the content of both reviews, Eurogamer didn't particularly care much for the game anyway. They probably only gave it an 8 to avoid controversy - the review sounded more like a 6. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 6 to 8 split on Eurogamer, which isn't quite as large but still pretty significant. (5 Hours ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Yeah sure, but from what console reviews are saying it's perfectly adequate. I mean I'm sure PC is the way to go, but I sincerely doubt we're seeing a 5 to 9 split score wise or anything. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX not that the Xbox version is "that bad" by most accounts either.. there are plenty of people here playing it who adore it.. but the PC game is recieving higher marks across the board (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @SimonM7: I doubt that's true too, if other reviews I've read are any indication. The game was designed around an interface that's not represented on the Xbox.. (5 Hours ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 I doubt PC and 360 scores would differ much in EDGE, they simply don't fancy it. DA on the 360 is fine as long as you like the underlying game. (5 Hours ago)
  • callmekymbo
callmekymbo is DA on the 360 really that bad? I can't run it on my pc so the eggbox is my only viable alternative (6 Hours ago)
