Thank's Driftwood for noticing these new multiplayer images of Gears of War 2, released by Microsoft and Epic as they led the american press get a grasp on the game last week.

and i think the screenshots look just fine. as a rule of thumb, it always looks better in motion so no need to criticize unless the graphics suck in general, which isnt the case here (i dont even like GoW btw)

It has nothing to do with that. It doesn't look bad, but doesn't look stellar compared to the other previous shots, and again its MP. SP looks even better. Again, people need to stop judging games on bad screenshots. And from the looks of it, they just took some poor shots compared to the other ones. You've seen the UT3 special for Gears 2 right? Now, that looks stellar, so these shots are pretty much meaningless, but they look fine as it is. And your tag suites you: LEBATO IS WRONG. :p And for gods sake stop being so godamn cynical.
Also go to the 1st page of the comments section, dcdelgado posted actual good pics from the screen caps of the UT3 Gears 2 special. Now, it looks mighty fine. Hell, this game looks mighty fine still. So, yea.

When he was booked his picture was taken and that's how all of the Brian Peppers foolishness got started, there's a whole sub-culture franchise for it. T-shirts, mugs and any kind of obscenity you can think of.

But he did grope her and and he was rightly charged and convicted for it. But the man's story is very sad and tragic. His appearance is attributed to a malformation of the cranium caused by Apert syndrome and/or Crouzon syndrome.

nope, LOL It's just that this kind of thing is getting really nutty.
Some years back there was this little black girl who had contracted aids at birth. The virus had caused a rare deformity that effected her growth. So as she matured into a young woman she remained virtually unchanged in her child like appearance. The doctors had to come up with a new classification for it because it wasn't like any of the syndromes associated with dwarfism like physical, bone or cartilage deformity. She just stopped aging.
She became an outspoken advocate of aids treatment and education, but it was astonishing listening to a woman with the appearance of an 11 year old.
As you might imagine, this was too much for small minded people to pass up. She too was given the "Brian Peppers treatment". Soon there were scandalous stories about the little girl having multiple sex partners and then contracting aids as a result. Imagine this brave young woman's courageous story being slandered.
Don't misunderstand me, I enjoy a good laugh just as much as anybody. It's just that people today are just too easily mislead by rumors and suggestive imagery. Especially here in the States.

GOW2 is becoming the new HALO, and as such has its haters and lovers, but its all good as only epic franchises get this much attention.

While I'd normally agree, I find it hard to believe anyone here wouldn't consider him to be a fanboy. Every game he posts about, it's the same thing. If it's for the 360, there's something he doesn't like about it.. If it's for the PS3, it's awesome. It's a little tiring.
And yeah, this is definitely reaching a Halo level of hatred. These Gears topics always reach such a ridiculous amount of posts, just because some people don't want to accept the fact that the 360 is getting a really good game.
And geez, I personally don't even like Gears of War, but I don't see the need to go crazy over a few poor screenshots. If you honestly think the final product is going to look like that, then I really don't know what to say.
