Id Software releases the first two official images of Rage, probably taken from the PC version. Note that the game will be the first one to use John Carmack's new engine, the Id Tech 5.

Agreed. As much as I would love games to look this good and clean on the 360, it just isnt going to happen. I imagine the visual fidelity can come close to that, but with 2xAA, which will add some jaggies.

Except the ps3 is limited by its 256MB of memory. I doubt the console versions will come close to looking anywhere as good as the game will on a high-end PC, blu-ray storage or not.
Cheeze, not this again... Julian Eggebrecht said that if you organize your data correctly 256 mb is plenty.
