Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)

The whole game concept is the same dungeon crawling in differente enviroments. Seen one, you probabbly have the idea what to expect from all others ( minus the enviroments visuals ).
Sk has been quite tight-lipped about revealing too much "story cutscenes" and the E3 2008 trailer showed a brief but awfull lot of in-game things I didn't knew they had in the game ( norse skeletons/zombies? )
Commented on 2008-08-11 15:23:58 In reply to HDTranThe game feels unpolished, pure and simple. They talked a good game, they sued Epic, they even promised 4 player co-op. Promises broken, hype machine dragged on way too long, has been in development for eternity (and still feels unpolished), Epic was sued, etc.
The character customization is stupid. Why even have the appearance of skill choice when you're forced to go down one entire line in the skill tree unless you're an idiot? Especially when picking a skill will lock you out of the bottom skills of the other trees? Just ridiculous.
The combat is debatable, people either like it or they don't. But I can personally say that the combat feels horrible. It's as if they decided to take a game like Smash TV (with dual analog controls) and then tack on melee. Even Dynasty Warriors melee feels more "right" than this game.
This game practically needs a miracle to do well.
we are getting half of what was promised for full price, its sad how people easily forget

Play the freaking demo ( wich represents well how the game will unfold, if you like the mechanics and genre, buy it. If not, don't buy it ), dont believe the bash and the trolling.
Make your own opinion on how to spent your well earned money, just don't let internet avengers do it for you

In fact, now I'm really happy after hearing that Fable 2's combat is more simplified in the controls, because Fable (another action RPG) has a lot of magic, spells, and combat. Action RPGs need combat that's more simplified, because they're not complete action games and need to appeal to RPG fans (who in turn-based RPGs usually only press 1 button).

one could argue you going on troll patrol trying to check every person you disagree with and label them uneducated biased know-nothing trolls is just as much imposing your personal opinion on them as you claim the TH trolls are doing.
they played the freaking demo, hated it, and are ranting about it. you played the freaking demo, loved it, and are ranting about it. you're doing the exact same behavior and any arguement to try tell one side to "shut up and go away" can be applied equally to the other.
if thats your arguement, hasn't TH already failed?
its combat is FAR more complex than any turnbased rpg.
frankly the control scheme might FEEL better than simple Diablo-style attack button spamming, but attack button spamming is technically less complex than what TH is doing. you turn, and press the button. repeat.
other than being real time and faster paced, thats actually closer in mechanical operation to what turn-based rpg players experience than what TH is doing.
