I kinda think the core concept is way cool, all those electrical powers, and less shooting like crackdown.
the graphics are very good in a small focus, very detailed, dark... the style kinda resembles mark's ecko game, but the big panorama shots and draw-distance are very, very disappointing.
Look at that, they use fog or there is a black box ending the Vanishing Point. Looks Akward and ugly, because the way the world looks in a vertical sandbox game like this, crackdown or spiderman ... is one og the key-aspect that are very important.
Needs work, or a downgrade to make the game-world more consistent all around.

i like the concept as well, but the artstyle isn't working for me

the trailer seems to showcase great power, but i just can't feel it

I think its because of a similar game Prototype, it seems to work better

this game looks so freaking cool. and while i agree the fogging is extreme i'd gladly sacrafice being able to see a bridge 500 miles away, so the game can look as detailed as this does. the textures, lighting and general LOOK of the game is just awesome. im really digging the artstyle in particular.

between this and prototype i chose this, mainly cos i think prototype has a far too eratic "spiderman 3" combat system. this game seems to be a lot more solid and refined, even at this early stage. the sly racoon games where great and i have faith that this will be too, time will tell i guess. bus so far its looking very impressive.
