DjMizuhara almost miraculously managed to fix his PS3 right on time for the release of Afrika, and sent us this first video with more to come. The game still doesn't seem to be planned for a release outside Asia.
Update: Second video added, with a tad more "action" this time.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Games sould be some kind of art and not some kind of splatter festival.
If this game would come out in europe it will be definetly a must buy.
So, no excuses... games aren't movies, so don't try to sell "national geographic"sim as the next big "game" thing.
It isn't.

Commented on 2008-08-28 17:23:10the producers seem to think there are enough people out there who want an experience like this (although I'm not sure about that) and I applaud them for their courage to make a game which isn't about constant action and killing everything that moves - now I only hope, that they managed to make it a fun game to those who are interested in being a cameraman in africa

Commented on 2008-08-28 19:17:35Anyway, American gamers like senseless killing and it show here in this thread. I agree with Lafiel.
Commented on 2008-08-28 19:51:41No, I neither have a Wii nor a DS, I played Dance Dance Revolution.
funny how often you post in a thread to a game which doesn't interest you at all btw
Commented on 2008-08-28 20:20:05Will I like The Last Guy? I dunno, tell me... the fact I have a million NGeographic tapes and love nature/africa game... doesn't seem to do much to me when the game is more *snore* that most of "wait... wait for that cheetaa atack" moments of those shows.
tell me, mr. detector.

2. By looking at those videos do you honestly believe that the exciting job of being a cameraman in the African wilderness is captured very well here? It would have to be the most boring job in the world according to this game? Shouldn´t it be a real adventure instead?

Commented on 2008-08-29 16:30:24where you literally have to accelarate, WAIT, stop at the stations, WAIT, accelarate.... over and over again.
And they sell well.
So while you fall asleep watching this, some japanese gamers probably are struggeling not lose consciounsness due to adrenaline-shocks.
Different cultures I guess....
