Lionhead Studios released these images of Fable 2, to show how you can dress your characters in different variations. The game is planned to be released in the end of October.

honestly fable 1 sold more than fallout 1 & 2 alone and according to blockbuster was rented over 200,000,000 times world wide and even tho falout is on different platforms fable 2 is going to come out for pc later in 2009 and if you would actualy take time to research then maybe you would know that fable was the fourth best selling game on xbox and all the people who buoght fable or even rented are most likly going to buy fable 2
also fable 2 has already outsold fallout as far as preorders go according to gamestop and most pc gamers are going to be busy with spore or warhammer and wow as far as ps3 gamers the xbox society completly out numbers them by millions and for a 2nd generation xbox gamer fable2 is much more anticipated than fallout 3 also fable1 sold more than fallout2 even tho fallout was multiplatform
i end with the fact that alot of people bought an x360 for halo3 and fable 2
if you still think fallout is going to sell more research it then come tell me im right in about 2 years when fable blows fallout out of the water

The previous fallouts have been of a completely different game than fallout 3 presents itself as...also the previous fallouts never hit console. If you want to compare sales then compare that of oblivion to fable1.

I am so stoked for this game it hurts! It's especially good that girl gamers can feel included with the female character option.
There is so much to Fable that goes beyond how graphically superior it is or isn't. And it isn't exactly a slouch in that area either! Some of the lighting and locations are beautifully done.
Oh, and blokes in women's clothing will always be funny if done correctly!

Considering their price nowadays, then yeah, you might as well if you're interested. But I find the battle system to be very slow, tedious and just plain boring. I loved the story, setting, dialogue and everything about Fallout 2, but I had to give up a few hours in, because the battle system drove me crazy.
Some people seem to swear by it though, so maybe it's just me.

I'm sorry if I've somehow offended you because my beef is entirely with starfox. I'm not cracking down on ANNOYING OPINION, that'd be like playing the Ninety Nine Nights equivalent of whack-a-mole. I'm reacting to the consistent, repeated way this guy attacks people to left and right and states outrageous, baseless, biased things like, well that the PS3 will never get an RPG as good as Fable 2, as if it were fact.
My frustration with that kind of hostile, provocative behaviour (reminicent of how you percieved my behaviour just now) coupled with the fact that it has continued for so long made me lash out in a manner I reserve for very, very singular occasions. I suspect that's why I'm neither bouleted for it nor banned at this point - when I do get titsed off it's for somewhat good reason.
If you wanna give the search function a whirl you can see for yourself what I'm talking about, and I really am just looking to sustain some kind of good atmosphere on here.

i would compare them but itll be like comparing super mario to mario galaxys becuase fable came out on the xbox while oblivion came out on 360
even if your attemting to refer to oblivion as morrowind that is the prediceser to oblivion for the xbox fable still sold more even though morrowind had a few more years to sell also even though oblivion was a great game it sold so well becuase of the bloom the video game industery had when the second gen game systems came out and oblivion was one of the first rpg available it turned out to be great but it was still a child of timing

No problem. It sounds like you have a long-running tete-a-tete with Starfox, which I was previously unaware of.
As for the PS3 not getting any decent RPGs, I do believe Final Fantasy VIII is coming out soon for it? :D
I haven't bought a PS3 yet, still on the fence TBH (I know it's a long time to sit on a fence, and I'm starting to get a bit sore...). I just haven't seen anything on the system that I can't have on my current console in one form or another.
Anyways, atmosphere is a good thing, let's see what we can do to keep it up!

The thing that worries me, is how not a single one of these characters look good or cool in any way.. Will we only get those ugly overly stupid costumes? Will there be ANYTHING cool that looks good?
Seriously, i wouldnt want my character to wear anything in those screens, i'd puke after a few minutes.

I agree that I haven't really dug any of the things I've seen the characters wearing, but I love the art style. Nothing about it seems like it's trying to be a realistic looking game. I get more of a cartoony, fairy-tale vibe from it.
actauly there are ALOT of new and unique armour such as the one that looks like master chief plate armour,assasin armours, many many legendary armours and you can even change the color of your armour such as in too human
