FDJV: More Resistance 2

PS3

We went back to the Festival du Jeu Video today planning to record more footage of Resistance 2, and I'm happy to report that we got another nice video of the game showing the other playable level. The guy playing this time isn't as good as yesterday's, but it's still very watchable. There is as usual no sound to be heard, and you know already how much it pleases me.

Wow, just f*cking wow.

blmbox, dcdelgado and LEBATO running full on damage control. Seriously, stop being so goddamn cinical. I didn't see none of you bitching about the mundanity of Far Cry 2. It's like every time this game comes up, you put on your pessimistic goggles and spit out your "Meh's" and your "Not enough's" . Seriously, cut the f*cking sh*t.

But ain't I missing the point here? It's a PS3 exclusive. D'OH!

Wow. Last time I checked, this was a place where gamers could state their opinions. So what - I don't think this looks great, but I am not allowed to say so? I'm simply commenting on what I see; and what I see isn't very impressive.

The fact that it's on the PS3 has nothing to do with it. Why I am even replying to you I don't know - you're really not worth it.

RFOM 2 for the PS is what GoW 2 is for the 360. Just pure fanboybashout here on Gamersyde. :)

This one looks good enough. And I think they *vastly* improved the GFX since the last game, didn't like the look of the first one at all.

I'll tell you one thing that Far Cry 2 brings to the party... they look to have the best map making editor ever on a console... there take that! I do agree that it might be like an exquisite piece of desert, but might not taste as good as it looks. I'm closely watching this one... but the editor looks cool as all get out. And I think if it is only an average game 7.0 - 8.0 singleplayer game, with a good online component and custom maps this thing could be outstanding... perhaps.

The only thing I didn't like about RFOM was how much of a time machine it was. It's like looking back into the history of FPS game design. It is, however, a very competent first attempt and I'm sure that Insomniac has learned a thing or two from that experience. I'm positive that RFOM2 will be a good game.

I didn't see none of you bitching about the mundanity of Far Cry 2.
