I DL'ed this demo the other day and I have to say I'm blown away. I previously played the game on PS2, and it seems twice as intense on Xbox 360. I'd like to play Revenge over Live so I'll probably buy it soon.

i also have it on the old xbox but i bought it instantly after it was available

i dont know how to explain, but because the release of the xbox version was a long time ago, and i needed a fun action racer for the 360 i decided to buy it and i am not a bit dissapointed

though i guess u should play the demo first. when u feel in the need for burnout, then go buy it :D

No he wouldnt...This is THE definitive version of Burnout. It woops the original xbox version in every way especially on LiVE!! Ive stopped playing G.R.A.W because of this game, its just a huge amount of fun both on and off-line ( tracking your revenge on-line rivals thru LiVE is such a cool addition! ) Not one person ive met thru this game has given any negative comments towards it. Just buy it! :D

Damn! Oh well I never play games for the achievements anyway its just something for me to do if I feel like challenging myself with something. I'm really impressed by the people with gamerscores in the 6000s and one guy up in the 20,000s maybe more by now.

YOu feel like challenging yourself? You just finished saying EA=High Gamerscores which is true since they are prett easy to obtain.

Anyway, never played Burnout before but I bought it as a gift for my littlle brother and I'm definately into this game. Going to borrow it after he's done with it.

I got Burnout and GR:AW on the same day when they were released. I have played Burnout 30+ hours already and I've only played GR:AW probably 6-7. Burnout just keeps me coming back for more.

And this is only the single player. I've played online probably 8 times total, but I'm trying to get perfect on the single player before I jump back online. I'm very close. This game is just so much fun, I'm so glad I got it. I never woulda thought I would play it more than GR:AW but I'm playing it WAAY more than GR:AW.

Burnout achievements are NOT that easy to obtain. As I said, I've played about 30 hours total, I have 21/36 achievements, and only have 440 gamerpoints from it heh.

But tonight when I finish perfect on the last rank (as well as perfecting each of the different types of events) I should have a lot more :D. But it wasn't an "easy" and quick task by any means.

Same game... marginally better graphics.
Honestly guys, I'm getting a littled annoyed with my 360.
If I knew that this was all they're going to release -- rehashes and PC titles -- I wouldn't have bought the 360.

I d/l the demo, had a go and was deleted about 10 seconds later.. total Dire game.. no foundation to it whatsoever, terrible..

yea i stoped playing ghost recon on live too, and i phoned in sick at work yesterday so i could play revenge all day on live. this game is totally awesome, better than pgr3 on live (and imo in the single player offline mode) the gfx are eyeball meltingly good and the speed that it runs at....phew

and to JOSEF well i have an idea for you .... sell your 360 and let someone else appreciate it. "marginally better graphics" lmfao

Frankly I'm disgusted at the graphics of the 360 version. I always heralded the xbox and PS2 versions as technical marvels and true showcases for the criterion renderware engine but this, oh my.

The bloom is so overdone it hurts my eyes and they use it to hide the rigid low poly worlds and models, they've burnt through dark shades to hide the ugly lack of detail in large chunks of the screen (everything blackened or whitened is hidden from your eye).

Add lack of bumpmapping or virtually any special effects in textures and slowdown in places where there was none on the xbox1 version and you have a pile of steaming deception and lies.

The game is still the same or even better but personally I just cannot accept such disrespect for our ability to judge what is worth the extra 10 bucks and what is just a direct port with higher poly cars behind a veil of blur.

And the kind of dirt Full Auto or even PGR3 received from the same people who now think this shallow port of a last gen game has the best graphics ever is equally disgusting. Fanboyism at its finest.

Great game, bullshit port job. My 2.44 euro cents.

Playing the demo was awesome , now i can save $60 plus tax for another game. thank you Microsoft for giving us Demos in Marketplace.

Anyways, i thought this game was pretty good...the graphics to me are acceptable...blazing fast framerate...and the gameplay was really fun. I say the gameplay was fun because the demo we got was for a boring game mode....and the boring game mode even ended up being fun lol.
