Nice setting and mood. What I really wish for is a co-op mode with 8-16 people against the AI. That would be bloody awesome.

I knew this would happen. You can be fanboyish all you want about the fact that the ArmA 2 devs were the original Operation Flashpoint devs, but the results speak for themselves.
Bigger budget makes a huge difference in the polish of a game.

It looks very good in this trailer. Hard to compare the graphics with Arma 2 as there is too little footage of OF2. But at least this will be playable at a decent frame rate. Arma 2 must be the least optimised game I have ever installed on my hard disc. It does not support SLI or crossfire, the graphics options are a complete mess. No matter what settings I tried to use made the frame rate playable (I have a GTX295 and Q9550 @ 3.4 Ghz). Bohemia Interactive are blaming the poor performance on the bad drivers of ATI and nVidia (official statement by technical support at BIS). Then I ask myself: what drivers did they use? And why the hell did BIS release this game knowing it wouldn't work.

Hoping OF2 will turn out the winner here.

just turn down the filler rate on arma and youll be playable thats what kills things on arma... and come on who the hell plays arma only for graphics?

Anyway, just watched the trailer and if that's all representative of actual gameplay, then that is fucking amazing. Best atmosphere I've seen in any FPS in a long time. CM have nailed the lighting of that specific time of day. Should offer a very different experience to the MP of COD MW 2.

i saw a little in engine clip of this once (terrain flyby) as opposed to this edited trailer and i think it has a lot to prove to show its better than frostbite engine used in Battlefield Bad Company, especially with all the fancy tech in their engine, destruction, hdr audio etc. i wish they'd release more info on their tech like DICE did
