A legendary trailer

Spark Unlimited once again is being talked about, this time with another project called Legendary: The Box (PC, PS3, X360), a first-person view game where an army of mythical monsters unleash carnage on a modern city. Weapons in hands, you must counter them. At least, it's something else than bald marines and ever lasting aliens. The video is taken from a very early build (alpha) of this production.

Originally, I wrote this piece of news on Saturday evening while a terrible blizzard came down on my city, in Canada. There was a power shortage, so excuse the delay. Some places received over 50 centimeters of snow with winds up to 100 kmh. Now the weather is clear, while yesterday, I had to shovel my way out of the house.

Wow, the frame-rate's really bad in this vid! It must be intentional or something because I've seen this game run much better during last years E3. Either way, it's very hard on the eyes.

Some cool scenes in there though, I'll be keeping my eye on this one. Just hope it won't go the way of Turning Point and the likes.

Movie was really choppy. But after the unimpressive earlier footage, I am quite impressed. I liked what I saw. Looks like a very hectic game.

So is the game officially changed to just "Legendary" now? I thought "Legendary: The Box" was a rather stupid name, but I think "Pandora's Box" would be a great name for this.

I don't know but I think it's probably just the poor trailer quality that's choppy, because the choppiness is so consistent in the video (like 8fps, and doesn't just 'get choppy' as you'd normally see).

Its alpha, the frame rate is always terrible in alpha

Also, the game isn't running THAT bad, its actually the video, notice how even the text put in overtop the capture, it is also just as choppy.

But the game definitely looks interesting, can't wait to see more!

Wow, looks very apocalyptic. I try to imagine this fluid and with good grafx and gameplay... this could become some fun! Some very nice ideas, indeed. Looking forward and keeping an eye on this.

what everybody else said + I like how the city transforms from a besieged but still intact metropole into an apocalyptic mess. Could be some nice developments, also in the enemys you face. Wth was that huge thing trashing the city?

I have played an alpha version of the game, and even if has a bad frame rate, i can tell you that the title is really promising. Really cool. And I have no doubt that at least it will run at a solid 30fps.
The werewolves are a pain really.
