Looks fun the customisation reminds me of Forza Motorsport.

What's with the week old Vids eh? lol =)

The customization looks pretty cool. But the gameplay looks a tad off. Looking forward to more.

look cool. reminds me a lot of downhill domination, a very under-rated recing/trick based game on the ps2, in the same vain as SSX. im just hoping the environments are nice and varied, even if it does end up bordering on the fantastical....volcano level FTW.

first Toy Story, now this. what will they think of next?! all joking aside this game could be interesting. "could be" being the key words

Looks very promising to me. That build-your-own-vehicle brings in some tactical elements (at least I hope so). The levels look very good, too. Hope the final game really looks like that.

It looks like Motorstorm with better graphics, nothing more. And that customisation is stupid, because who the hell knows what makes one part better then the other? Or do they mean: you earn money along the way and then you apply the most expensive part...(yawn)

Oh please, not even a single coerent complaint.
Maybe it's not a complaint *yet,* but what he said is a valid concern.

Well if you look at the video, as he switches through components, the meters in the bottom right corner slide right and left.

Yes, I have seen that, but the commentator does say that when you get better (= win more races and/or money), you choice of components gets larger and larger. Isn't that the concern that I was trying to express? I have to admit that it is too early to make judgement. The graphics are great from what I could see, so that's a good start.

How anyone could find pleasure/satisfaction in customizing a scooter on 4 wheels is beyond me.

Graphics are stunning though, wow!

Yeah but unlike in Forza, here its only ATV's, on which you can hardly see the diff things you changed lol. I mean who's gonna notice the new grill or suspension shocks when you pass them in a hectic race?
It'll just look like the same old ATV's :P Would rather have it be a car-based game with parts that you actually notice. Like a Baja or Dakar game.

I think it's more about customizing for performance, not looks.

Do you get how people can find pleasure in customizing cars?

Sure do, even though I don't like the thought of "customizing" a great piece of machinary with plastic peripherals (I mean, a DB9 is as perfect as it gets), I totally understand how people get off on that. Supercars are just every boy's dream, these things however...not exactly.

Also, there's hardly anything on these things to really distinquish them. They're all too basic and similar.

  • digi_matrix
digi_matrix Paranormal Activity was insane, totally deserves being the most profiting indie film ever made. I saw the original version, not the theatrical one. WAY BETTER! (3 Hours ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Nope, no such prestige I'm afraid. Just 1½ year of comic making and ICQ channel community on quakenet of all places. :) 2002 doesn't sound far back but it's soon 8 years ago. Time sure does roar past. (9 Hours ago)
  • Megido
Megido Did you make comics and stuff for kong back in the day? The art looks similar :) (10 Hours ago)

  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Thanks :D and yeah I do. M7 was originally a webcomic, and the idea now is to make it a bit of an entertainment blog in general and a webcomic. Only done two strips so far since I rebooted it in may. (11 Hours ago)

alimokrane @SimonM7: Dude That's amazing. Do u draw that stuff ?? (12 Hours ago)
