EA Montreal has released a new trailer of Army of Two: The 40th Day. You won't see the game in action though as the trailer is really different from what we usually see. It's a sort of mix between CG characters and real people from EA Montreal and it's as funny as you'd expect.

Yeah, I asked myself the same question, so I paused it a few times just to make sure. Indeed they were CG mixed with the real world in the most impressive way. Just pause the video a few times and check out the character's legs while he's sitting on the couch. Even when they were standing around the pool table made me skeptical, but they were also CG. The guys who put this trailer together are in the wrong business; this is definitely worthy of Hollywood material.

They just used an overlay of CG models on the real actors.

the only cg is at the beginning after the elevator opens its just live actors in a costume
i'm not even sure this is army of two where is my fistpunch?

ah okay just reviewed in full screen i see it now, that really quite unnervingly well done fooled me at first glance:) i just assumed it was a low cost PR exercise but they obviously went to some effort.

I was fooled too initially, but you can tell by the skin and animations that it's CG.

Bravo on their part though - very impressive.
