EA and DICE have released a new trailer for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam showing some action on the Phu Bai Valley map. This expansion will be available this winter for 1200MSP or $14.99 on X360, PS3 and PC.
Can't wait if a little upset that there are no maps from Nam being remade, just along as i have that music blasting away when i fly one of the Hueys i'll be ok ;D
Why do shooters always have the same pictures? You see a part of yourself (hand or gun) and in front of the player, mostly on the left side, you see another computer character..
Aren't there other possibilities?

I like DICE's new Bad Company style covers. My cup of tea. But yes....covers are not very original now. Maybe some special editions, but still....lack of ideas. But if the game is good, I dont care about cover.
Not that we havent seen ALOT of vietnam war games.... this looks pretty good.
But seriously... im sick of how stuff blow up in BF games. It looks so 10years old.. It doesnt look like the thing ur blowing up, is exploding. More like fast change of 3D model from "not broken" to "broken". a bit outdated imo.
i love the vietnam period so ill prolly get this game and try not to focus on the really outdated tech.
Bad Company 2 is the most bare bones Battlefield game to date. The game has gotten ZERO new maps since its launch in March 2010 and there are so many annoying problems; rush is broken, broken HUD on the PC version, lack of maps, irritating performance issues argh...
This is what happens when a top tier PC developer gets greedy or partners up with fucking EA. I really hope Valve always remains independent although a PSN/XBLA release of Team Fortress 2 with latest updates should have happened ages ago. Dice we knew and loved is long dead, I don't expect a game like Battlefield 1942 from them ever again and it is likely that Battlefield 3 will be totally consolelized (no planes, no movable ships, 32 player cap etc etc)

from what i seen of gameplay videos, i do not think they even have the option to play music in vehicles anymore that everyone else can hear. which i find really retarded since they are practically taking away a huge immersion element that was in the original game. if someone could prove me wrong i would really appreciate it, because i honestly want the music in vehicles

I hear ya man, even though i liked BF:BC2 the main things that p'd me off were the lack of maps, performance issues and the fact it just wasn't a true BF game.
